Nice combo of FTL-like progression with deckbuilding with lots of meaty consequences. Good atmosphere and stylized look & feel. Reminds me of Klei's games, and right up there with Invisible Inc.

Quite interesting tactical framework and a refreshing take on the XCOM battle system, especially with positional play. Unfortunately there's a heavy emphasis on the occult (Witchcraft, Salem, demons, Cthon, etc) and game mechanics designed to interact and be party to these things. Maybe I should have looked a little deeper into this darker side of the Marvel catalogue before purchasing as it remains thematic to the Midnight Sons (so I can't fault Firaxis for that) just something that eventually made the characters toxic and not worth completing.

Best co-op game in ages. Beware falling trees!

Deep strategy game with a multitude of races and strategies. Simultaneous turn resolution adds complexity to the decision-making and and battle scripting make this stand apart as a unique experience.

Another great implementation of the series. This time more focus on minor crusades, owing favours and building dynasties to make the best story generator around.

Great mix of Total War battles, Crusader Kings characters, and a highly dynamic diplomatic environment. Really engaging and "one more turn" playability

Fun LAN game

Rogue. Like. To. The. Beat.

The tactical turn based strategy supports the story, rather than the traditional way of having the story string the strategy elements together. Very well polished and atmospheric, although some choices come out of left field. Best bet is to let yourself go and roll with the punches that the game dishes out; you'll get a much more satisfying experience.
