htoL is a puzzle horror light game where you use fireflies to indirectly control the main character through levels of puzzles where you can take your time and think, and action segments that call for quick thinking and running away. The artstyle of the game is great and visually neat and have some interesting designs, but it's not without big flaws.

The gameplay is more of you fighting the controls of the character to do something you want than you actually spending time on puzzles, and the game actively punishes you for it when precision and timing is called for in some areas of the game.
In slow paced puzzles, this isn't really an issue, but still frustrating. But in fast action segments, this is a huge problem. The fireflies and protag will drift more or less than where you really want them to be- it'll feel like they're lagging. If you want her to turn around, she'll take a second to turn or if you want to climb something, you have to go through an entire process and do exaggerated movements with the light firefly to get her to do what you want.
So, when puzzles call for little to no errors, you'll end up dying more than you'd want even though you figured out the puzzle minutes before hand. This is especially true when you want to learn about the story which are stored in these collectibles. If you screw up part of the puzzle trying to get it, then you have to kill yourself and do it again to obtain it which can turn a 1 minute puzzle into a 10 minute puzzle because of character movement.

I quit the game half-way through a long time ago. Came back only to be reminded of why I even left. The core of the game is based around patience for the main character and not the puzzles itself or the world.

Can't even play the game. My hours come from tinkering with getting the game to work. My first road block was the damn splash screen which took 90% of the game time I have. Next road block was going through all the stuttering cutscenes. And when I did finally get to the main menu of the game, the textures wasn't even loaded in. All blocky unrendered textures.

The game is poorly optimized with one too many loading screens inbetween each cutscene. I got through like 4 loadings before I just gave up entirely. It's nice to see people can play the game, but the negative reviews are all pretty much the same with mine being one of many. I scoured the community forums looking for solutions. Created a user.cfg (worked well in progressing further than I had previously), but these solutions did not work for me. I shouldn't have to spend so much time trying to fix the game to make it even playable.

Sad.
The game uses a peer to peer connection instead of a server based host for games which makes the game run terrible. 90% of your inputs is dropped or you can't switch between targets because the game stutters, it creates a terrible experience for the players and puts the game in a very bad spot despite how great it looks and plays. The long queue time helps create a bad experience when you sit there 10-15 minutes at a time, occasionally, pairing you up against or with BOTS for a quick stomp back into the long queue.

I love the game. It's beautiful, has really nice voice acting and you can switch between Japanese or English VA. I played it a ton during beta on PS4, but decided to not pick it up because of these issues. I now see it on Steam, and I thought, hey, maybe things are fixed, but that's a joke.

Final Fantasy NT is FREE through the Free edition which will switch out characters on a weekly rotation, but because its FREE, there are multiple things locked which is fine, but it's not really worth spending money on the game.

The game is super simple with no complexities. A person who has never touched any fighting games can pick this game up and be as skillful as a veteran, or have a friend to play with who doesn't have time to invest into a fighting game.

I've read the reviews about people having issues with the games port, resolution, or crashing at the video before the start menu or lag in online lobbies, but the only issue I had was the room search for your buddy wasn't popping up, but can see each other in the online lobby and a tidbit issue with the resolution being only fullscreen or windowed with 3 different scales.

Combat system:
-smart combos are implemented into the game, so just mashing one button is all you need to do to get a combo off.
-There's 2 main hitting moves, 1 partner clash move with empowered move sets on it and then the partner change button
-The special moves are pretty straight forward and easy to pull off. Every character's special move are the same buttons
-Resonance Blaze is like an X-factor in MvC, but can only be activated when your partner is down

Would I recommend it?
-Yeah, I would for those who don't occasionally play fighting games and/or want a buddy to beat up on with smart combos
-No, for those who enjoy the complexities of each character like Tekken

Brilliant game. Designed as a Table Top board game and highly recommend playing with some friends.

Objective of the game is to level up with either stars or wins (downing oppenents for their stars and suffering 8D ).

In-game you gain stars at the end of the match to purchase card packs to expand the deck of cards you want played in-game during the game along with other players choosing.

Roll your die and see what happens. Goodluck c:

Hands down. This game is fantastic in every which way when it comes to space battles, merchanting, doing bounty jobs, odd jobs in general, and exploring the vast space. The time it takes just to reach one place to other side of the galaxy could take days, or even a week (Not saying I would do that). This game is entirely in your own spaceship, and within this ship of yours lays the most detailed works (could cut off your own life support ;D) and I would play this more often if I didn't lose frames all the time (computer not on the high end).
