tl;dr feels like an alpha build of the original Sniper Elite. Finished it in 2 hours on the highest difficulty.

The AI will pinpoint your position just because you were running 100 meters away, but will not care about a sniper rifle being shot from the same distance. This also means that any stealth mechanics simply don't work. Secondary weapons are useless, the enemies have much higher accuracy with them than you do.

I wanted to click "Not recommend", but if you are a slavjank enthusiast or just like shooting with a sniper rifle, you should have some fun with it. Don't buy it for anything more than a dollar though.

Actually really good, gave me the long-lost vibe of Test Drive Unlimited 1 that I had when I played it as a child. There's no real payment walls that would block you from making progress in the campaign and races. By being smart and using the cars you already received, and trust me, the game kind of spams you with the cars received from doing in-game achievements or finishing race challenges, you can usually just buy and use one of the tuning setups already made by the community to just keep on racking on money for other cars you want. The HOONIGAN Ford Escort that the game gives you for free as a tribute to Ken Block, when tuned, can help you with racking up a lot of skill points in free-roam and track races, performing drifts 24/7.

I assume however that money still becomes a challenge during late-game for masochists wishing to 100% games, since finishing your car collection with "rare" cars that cost a fortune might be a pain to do without submitting yourself to the great evil of micropayments that was laid down by the game industry.

But still, the feeling of the world in FH5 is full of life and joy, especially with all the radio broadcasters giving comments on new events and your progress in the campaign. Me likey.

Classic tycoon game. Found this gem a few years back when I was searching for portable games to put on my pendrive for possible lengthy breaks between my university classes, and it has surprisingly stuck with me ever since.

I believe it I would be fair to say that I have at least a few hundred hours spent with this game, although during my time I had never built any complicated line combinations. The most advanced thing I have ever built with train tracks was perhaps a transit system collecting coal from 6 or so coal mines and moving it far away to an electricity plant located on the edge of a map.

You might ask - what the hell was I doing this whole time then? And here comes OpenTTD's charm - just mowing down the terrain in your way and being only required to think about how to place the tracks in the most convenient way, while avoiding hills and trying to dry out as few rivers as possible, is... weirdly relaxing. Once you quickly set up a basic train line that brings you profit to cover your initial loan given you by the game and give you a little something on top of that, congratulations - you're free to choose your own goals and do whatever you want now. Expand your existing line? Grow a city via public transportation? Use airplanes? Make profit via boats and oil refineries? You name it.

Although I always play on multiplayer servers, I never view any other players as competition - bah, most servers disallow you in one way or another from setting your stations too close to the existing operations of another player anyway. But it just feels way more alive to see the activities of other players in your game rather than the sad, empty game world of singleplayer.

And finally, on a finishing note - just play yourself some chill tunes while playing and let your mind just be clear of thoughts. I personally always have Boris Brejcha from the minimal techno genre blasting during my gameplay, which is somehow... unexpectedly fitting? Perhaps the slow BPM bass melodies just fit in my imagination to the sound of traffic, but eh, I don't know. Anyway, play yourself some calm songs and allow OpenTTD to give you some relaxation for once.

Bought it for the letter achievements, regarded the gameplay as a bonus extra. But, although repetitive, it is actually quite relaxing.

Crashes like a ♥♥♥♥♥ on new hardware and has framerate problems due to the engine.
(edit: The framerate problems have been resolved with setting win7 compability mode and setting reducemouselag to false in the .ini file.)

But where else can you tase a person to the ground, burn him to death, then pee on his dead body and at very end cut his head off with a shovel to play fetch with a dog?

Precisely.

The graphics looked clunky even in 2003 when I played it as a little child, but that didn't matter.
Gameplay matters. And RWS understood that.
(also black humour does, but nevermind)
