Epic ambience, dark gritty survival. Immersive and engaging narrative and plenty of nostalgia. Revisiting updated places from the old games hits all the right spots.

Feels like a mix of a heap of great games I love, the survival and building and looting.
Old H1Z1 vibes, Days Gone, bit of pal world, bit of division almost.
Great fun, took me a little bit to acclimate but I really enjoy it now.
The shop is all cosmetics, and they're expensive but the game is free.
Not sure how it'll feel with seasonal wipes, but we'll take that when it comes and might actually be nice to have a refresher after 6 weeks when content is drying up.

Honestly one of my favourites now, probably favourite sci-fi besides mass effect series.
Puzzles, shooting, exploration, secrets, everything is done well. Q-beam is hella fun. The story is good and has twists and mind-♥♥♥♥♥. Looks beautiful and never had a bug for me.

You were the greatest game ever, even if it was a ♥♥♥♥ storm mess from the beginning til the end. Will forever hold you in our hearts, and no game has yet to fill the void you left behind no matter how many early access zombie survival buggy messes are thrown up and abandoned on Steam. You were number one in our hearts.

I met my longtime girlfriend on this game. 10/10 would fund a reboot.

Actually a good remaster for once !
Voice actors not as rememberable as original sadly, I still know those lines by heart.
Sunk 90% of my time into scenario editor.

Handsome Jack is the true Hero of the story.

After Borderlands 2, this is the best of the series. So much feels and amazing story. Great fun too.

Like Witcher 3 crossed with Skyrim with hints of Chivalry for style, but no magic and heavily realism based for the medieval period. Absolutely gorgeous and immersive.

Like STALKER with friends, or old DayZ with npcs and missions. Good loot, good guns, good community so far, good fun.

Nooooooo You cant remap controls, but even worse ... cant invert mouse Y Axis !!
