Core memory gaming

This game was being recommended to me on 10/19/24 even though it's been offline for years.

It was fun though.

Playing this game while high right now. This is literally the gameplay equivalent of being high.

edit: ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this game is literally a satirical look at the entirety of video games as a form of entertainment. it's basically a combination of doom eternal, cod, dishonored, I'm sure even myst. literally a masterpiece

Actually unplayable garbage that has ridiculous hit detection and lag worse than what I used to experience playing battlefield vietnam on dial-up

Full fledged sequel sold as DLC for dirt cheap. The world doesn't deserve Torpor Games but I am glad they exist.

I believe this game can be life changing for others because it was for me.

I added this game to my account in June 2022 from a humble choice month but only started playing Jan 2024. There is too much I want to say and also too little that can be said without spoiling. There are numerous endings and this is the closest anything I've played has gotten to being a real-life simulator. There's something here that is more than just a game. Just want to thank Torpor Games for making this and am really looking forward to the DLC. I wish there was an endless supply of content like this.

There is almost nothing bad to say about the game I just want even more content.

Some future improvements that would make the game even better:

• better settings menu allowing you to rebind controls even though the dev is clearly smart and put put everything on a good default key this was added
  
• more world generation or randomization incentivizing more exploring
  
• random world events where existing drones may have landed or finding dead crew members who were also working for the company
  
• low chance to find equipment like flashlights in the main building or the world
  
• some other exploration options like a remote bomb defusal bot on tracks
  
• unique powerful items to find or be bought which can later be sold or continue to be used for higher survival chance
  
• quality of life being able to see what people are seeing on the terminal or hearing someone else's walkie talkie (technically a terminal mod exists)

Mods have added a lot of content to this game but it's difficult/impossible to play with pubs because mods don't propagate to joiners.

Devs deserved better 10/10 game

I've played worse but have also played substantially better which is this game's biggest weakness. Nearly every arcade game you can play is uninspired and boring. The management aspects are essentially non-existent and nothing gets better over time. Graphically the game somehow look worse than payday 1 while being released over a decade later. You've essentially seen everything the game will offer you after 2 hours.

Oh, and over $17 worth of arcade game DLC. Games that you'll literally play for 5 minutes and ask yourself why you're playing them.
