Numbers go up in an appealing manner.

Some overwhelmingly positive games on steam make sense, some don't.

This is definitely one of the later. That said, the game is fine. If you want a game to sit in the background while you do other stuff, then it's great for that. The biggest issue is that over a couple of days and 4 or 5 hours of active playtime at most, you've done everything there is to do. You've unlocked everything, built everything, done it all. You have maps left to unlock but that's just different scenery - you build the same things, in the same order and unlock the same stuff, in the same order with nothing new whatsoever.

There's nothing incremental, no new game+ system, nothing at all you would expect in current idle games. If you want a pixel art style game to run in the background for a couple of days before you move on. you could do a lot worse. If you want an idle game that will last longer than a few days, you could do a lot better.

Quite a few silly sausages have felt the need to leave comments on 70+ hours playtime and how it must be amazing value because of that. To be clear, I left the game open for ~3 days - it's an idle game. Actual time interacting with the game was maybe 4 or 5 hours at most, half of that was on different maps to see if anything else opens up - it turns out it doesn't.

Even leaving it running overnight has no real benefit, there's no point having more money or more flowers or anything - there's nothing to do with any of it.

An idle game where you do everything there is to do in a few days.

It might have been fun to carry on anyway, clearing the map of all items. There's some fundamental flaws with the miner logic and pathfinding which make it far too tedious though. The more of the map you clear, the more broken they get.

The dev was fairly active on the forum in the first few days, all the things which make the game less fun to play have been pretty much ignored however.
