Now that they are commited to make the changes that should have been in the base game, like Fist and Witch being unlocked for everyone just like Breaker and being able to change stats via ap/cp, I can see this game being amazing in the near future, shame that the first impression will always be there no matter what they change.

The game's presentation and worldbuilding are amazing, the story and npcs add up to that, it all makes you really feel like you stepped into Hell, you will see gore, dismemberments, rape, murder, cannibalism, necromancy, blood magic and other stuff from that caliber, the enemy designs are also amazing, with really horrifying and cool creatures, plus the combat is pretty unique, it works with a dismemberment mechanic, where you can attack different parts of the enemy and each part can be chopped off, so for example you can chop the right arm of a guard and he will be unable to use his cleaver, it's a really cool concept that works well in the game.
But this game is hard, pretty hard indeed, you will have to get used to its mechanics (specially the rng of the coin toss in the worst possible moments), map designs and the enemy patterns, then after that process you will really be able to fully experience the game by going for different endings, finding new npcs, companions and lore.

This game is the example of a good visual novel with a tactical battle system , and it works well , pretty well indeed.
