Monster Hunter is my favourite game series of all time and World just grows it and makes it a better game in so many ways. Unfortunately there are a few broken bits that just make it feel "light" compared to its predecessors and the end game is just broken grind rather than the fun grind that Monster Hunter always offered. I'm just over 200 hours and have largely lost interest, the first monster hunter game I've played less than 300 hours on.

Be prepared to get killed lots though

Brilliant game, just played through completely for the second time with the addition of achievements.

Although it's quite well made and it's free-to-play, the transition onto PC with the limitations on energy is really frustrating. The game is making me write a review super early to get rewards, which is also frustrating, but I've now edited it after playing far too much.

It becomes a ridiculous grind for nothing more than getting the achievements after the storyline finishes abruptly without a real ending. It is engineered to make you want to spend money, which I'm tempted to do just so I no longer feel compelled to play this stupid game.

Still as addictive as ever and genuine improvement gained from the major expansions. I've lost so many nights in the seeming blink of an eye to Civ 5.
