Tiberian Sun is where this series peaked so far as themes and design. Unfortunate that they went another direction after Westwood got eaten alive by EA.

Great game to play with friends, as the name implies. If you play without collisions you're missing out on 90% of the fun.

King of the 4x space genre.

Biggest issue is the DLC prices. Though a lot of content is added as free updates, you'll find the best late game content is in DLC.

EDIT: Paid mods have been removed from the Skyrim workshop, but I will be leaving my review as not recommended.

The Game itself is fun enough, a worthy successor to Oblivion in the Elder Scrolls franchise, but there is a fatal flaw here.

If Valve makes the smart choice and removes this 'feature' I will gladly play again; but until then, Skyrim will find itself in the junk folder of my steam library.

While technically considered a 'kinetic novel' due to the lack of alternate endings or player choice, the story told by Key is both emotional and captivating. It is more focused on telling an emotional story, than on creating a challenging experience for it's players, and focuses instead on creating a pleasing aesthetic.
