RIP HellDivers 2: Feb. 8th, 2024 - May 2nd, 2024.

If you're unaware, Sony and the developers have decided after nearly three months after release, that you are required to create and link a PSN account in order to play online...
..this is an online only game.

I don't want a Sony account, and never intend to create one. They have been known multiples times to have leaked personal account information from their databases.

On top of this new fact, development has been utterly out-of-touch with the community since release.

Balancing passes and gameplay changes are made in an effort to artificially inflate the initially percieved depth of the game, by making ALL missions more difficult, nerfing any primary weapon that can actually carry it's weight in-game. (Including the ones they leave strong when they drop a paid content pass, and then nerf before the next pass.)

Honestly was a really cool concept with a ton of potential; Now that the curtain has been pulled back on the developers and publisher of this game, I can confidently say I'm requesting a refund!

Thanks for the brief enjoyment, but it got old quick and new updates only serve to make it more of a grind rather than more refreshing.

Overall? 3/10.
The first ten hours are the most fun, and then it nosedives into being a chore.

I just think they're neat!

Remember Risk of Rain 1? This ♥♥♥♥ is like that but on crack and in 3D. Don't remember Risk of Rain 1? Well, son you need to get your ass in gear and learn what these games are all about. Aliens, Crazy guns, a ton of items, handful of different characters, pretty levels, cool bosses, the list goes on. If you're a fan of Sci/Fi or Rougelikes, this will become your main ♥♥♥♥♥ forawhile.

Put the ball in the tube and go bang. Kind of fun, not gonna lie. Don't like tubes and balls? Play the drums instead ♥♥♥♥♥.
