This game is insane. I went in pretty much blind aside from a few frames of a trailer.

If you grew up on Budokai Tenkaichi this is that and more. It's beautiful. It's insane.
I genuinely suggest any dragon ball fan get this game. It's HARD, it has DEPTH to its combat, and the storyline is not JUST cutting up the original story into pictures and dialogue, there's new animations, there's some fun alternate perspectives, there's even some non-canon alternate endings (the rewarding ones with depth require a lot of willpower but are so freaking cool!)

Genuinely, if you like dragonball, if you like NUNS, Xenoverse, any type of arena fighter, you're going to love this game. If you haven't touched any of these or you're hesitant, there's the ability to play at a reduced difficulty to learn (I'm insane and didn't do this despite this being the first time I've ever played a Budokai-like game) and there's plenty of training informations and demos to help you learn how to play the game.

Again, it's HARD, it's ANNOYING, but it's so WORTH it. When you beat a difficult fight you feel incredible. The game feels so good to play, and I'm so excited for the future.

I hope this continues to get so much more love and attention from the devs and fans. It'd be amazing if it was the successor to Xenoverse 2 finally.

The only main con I have, minus some minor issues with the budokai style that are inherent in the basics of the game, is that when you're doing training mode it's not terribly intuitive to swap through each specific lesson and sub lessons, it requires a lot of down time between menus and pressing an obnoxious button combo, aside from that, the difficulty is refreshing, the roster is INSANE, and the amount of love in this game is clear.

Here's hoping to a bright future for Sparking Zero!

Cute, quick, and quite enjoyable. The characters were a bit trope-y, but not enough to ruin anything. The art is beautiful, and I enjoyed the fact you could choose between going a friendship or romantic route. I also enjoyed that each of these routes had two endings. It's a really well made VN, it's free, and if you like what you've seen on this page, I highly suggest giving it a try. It gave me a smile.

It's short, sweet, easy to beat all the achievements, and really enjoyable.
If you like what you see, you'll enjoy the game.
The hardest part was remembering where the botanical gardens were when I was hunting the final containment area.
Definitely worth it if you like the idea!
Plus the cute extra mission on the christmas map is a nice jaunt for after you finish the main game!

An absolute blast.
I had a lot of fun with this game and I can almost never find the energy to play singleplayer games.
Before I say too much, I will say, the two main issues I had were simple. In the first half of the game, your items having such low durability was annoying and a lot of the game is artificial difficulty through the durability, but by Chapter 2.5, you can learn how to make at least on tool unbreakable, so that isn't too bad in the grand scheme of things, plus the grind really wasn't that annoying when compared to all the fun I was having exploring.

The second problem takes place in the latter half of the game chapter 4+, when you are trekking through these areas, if you don't have enough durability on your tool, or you don't have the tool you need, sometimes you have to walk for a solid 2-3 minutes back to your ship and back to the spot you want to do a thing on. Obviously, it's not the end of the world, but it's annoying when you see the shortcut and know it's there, but can't open the shortcut until AFTER you've completed the last 2% of the task you're nearly done with.

For the pros: I loved the humor, definitely one of the best parts of the game, it got a lot of laughs out of me. The story was great, albeit a small bit confusing, since sometimes the dialogue would cut off for other things, and scrolling through the old messages didn't give the same flavour as listening to it.

The environment was beautiful, there was so much to explore and so many tiny stories everywhere. Even once you get to chapter 4+, the game still has a lot to offer, and the references were beautiful, I loved all of them!

The amount of content is also a plus, there's so much here, and even in almost 20 hours of gameplay, I didn't witness everything, and in areas I had already been, I saw a friend find stuff I didn't even see! Definitely a plus there too.

Overall, I'd give this game a solid 8.5/10, with most games I play never really getting any higher than 7. It did so many things right, and the problems were outweighed heavily by the good parts, but they still existed, and while I understand the grinding, the other issues weren't as forgiving.

I definitely suggest you jump in blind and try this out for yourself!
If you like space, wacky humor, and some of the great sci-fi games/movies of our time, you'll love this game and you just gotta try it!

A short, but enjoyable game. Streamed it with a friend and had a lot of fun. The premise isn't too hard to understand, there's some questions left at the end, and the secret ending was not what I expected, but at the end of it all. Definitely a good game, worth the money, and definitely something I'd recommend to people who like to sit down and think. The obvious answer isn't always right, and sometimes you gotta sit back and rethink your strategy from the beginning.

If you're unsure, it's challenging, but it's fun. Plus, after you beat it, going back for the relics doesn't take more than like 30 minutes. It's worth it!

I highly suggest this game. It is a LOT of fun, even at the highest difficulty. It is HARD when you play it on grand master, but it felt so rewarding to memorize gameplay. I enjoyed finding the cosmetics and the story had me the whole time.
If you like star wars, it's a great game.
On the downside though, there were countless bugs I faced, clipping out of the world and countless T-posing enemies that spawned in after I had already made it past them. I had one time where I respawned in a puddle and I started swimming underneath the ground and had to reset the game so I could continue playing. The game is a lot of fun, but there are some annoying caveats, and at the highest difficulty the game doesn't hold your hand, you have to have certain abilities in secondary areas or else you will get mad easily.
If you play it on a lower difficulty, and can deal with the bugs, the story is completely worth it. I was interested the entire time and loved it, though I will say, as with most stories, I did not enjoy the ending, despite the interesting way it ends.
All of this combined, I still heavily recommend the game if you're willing to look past the bugs.

I really enjoyed this game, picked it up on sale and enjoyed every minute of it. I started off annoyed with the controls, but after tinkering with them, the game felt so fluid. Most of the time, in games like this, it's pretty much impossible to play without using the time shift ability, but with this one I had so much fun playing in real time when I got to speedrun mode, I realized there was literally an option to play without the time shift and I am currently almost done with a second run in speedrun mode focused on finishing hard mode, which is MUCH harder than the base game. I'm excited for the release of the DLC, and I can't wait to see the future of this game!
If the gameplay interests you, then I really suggest getting it!
