I’m drawn to the shape of feet, but when I hear about the Elephant’s Foot at Chernobyl, the horror of its mutated, ashen form stirs something dark in me—an unsettling mix of fascination and dread. As I play S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, the new game’s irradiated wasteland feels disturbingly real, and when I come across an anomaly pulsing with radioactive energy, I swear I feel my foot twitch, as if some unseen force is pulling me toward it, claiming me like an artifact’s irresistible lure.
