Battallion is a incredibly well put together eSports Shooter that has a lot of depth, it provides the same satisfaction that you get from other skill based shooters for developing yourself as a player. Battallion has a thorough selection of maps that have been thoughtfully designed will lots of nuance and balance.

Battallion 1944 deserves more attention, and the only thing I felt that was really missing was a active playerbase. It makes me sad to question whether classic skill based shooters can be successful anymore. Bulkhead have tried really hard to incentives new players to start playing with the release of new maps. I think if they want this game to grow from here on, the developers really need to consider making the game Free to Play. The scares a lot developers going for a Free to Play model but I think that's the only route to bringing in the playerbase that Battallion deserves.

DayZ is Iconic for many reasons, and there's many lessons to be learnt. DayZ pretty much kickstarted the Survival and Battle Royale Genre going, it showed that there was a huge unfilled demand for this type of game and other Developers took what worked and learnt from what didn't for competing titles

The writting was on the Wall for this game going down as a failure all along, it had so much stacked against it failling. The biggest failure was not having the foresight to realise that this concept would never be properly forfilled in such an Archaic Game Engine. I think it was really unfortunate and selfish that Bohemia interactive didn't provide DayZ developers the rights to the Arma 3 Engine assetts.

The development of this game focused on originative gameplay mechanics but fell short on any True objective framework to pull everything together. Players like innovative gameplay features but they expect the mechanics to be complimentary accessories to the experiance, not ones that are cumbersome and detract from enjoying the game itself.

It's a shame that so much development time was spent trying to fit a square peg into a circle hole, this could have been avoided great with a better engine choice as the foundation to the game.

It was inevitable that other studios would be more nimble, and very quickly outpace this game competing in a simlair genre space. Today there is nearly a hundred different titles coming either under survival or Battle Royale style gameplay, many of which deliver exactly the same gameplay features but most provide it a complete package that makes DayZ looks outdated in almost every respect.

This is One of the Best If not the Best Team Orientated Arcade
First Person Shooters. The Gameplay is very intense and
a lot of experiance and skill is required to forfill each Role
successfully and to be a great team player, it's all about applying
yourself to that role to the maximum.

This is what makes it so highly addictive and fun, which is the key
to why this game is so highly successful.

Without Team Work being used at its core then your team
will most likely lose. Everything about this game make it perfect
for Highly Competertive Gaming.

This would defiantly be in my TOP 5 Games to play of all time.
