Short but sweet, a fun little indie project. The overall atmosphere of the game gave me some major “GEMINI HOME ENTERTAINMENT” vibes.

Guild Wars 2 is an MMO where you don't have to worry about grinding repetitive dungeons to up your item level or farming for a certain piece of gear that is best in slot for your class. Once you craft your ascended or legendary gear - that's it, you can go on hiatus for an entire decade and come back with the ability to ease yourself into whatever the current content is at the time. You may need to change the stats on your gear to compliment a new build, but you can easily change said stats on your current gear, or just craft another set with the stats you want. You can store both sets in your build plates to easily switch between, even!

I've been playing since Day 1 of the headstart and the gear system in GW2 has always been my absolute favourite. This comes after spending an eternity on World of Warcraft and Final Fantasy XIV, where I found myself worrying more about gear score and having to play catch-up all the time (due to work, deployment, etc.), leaving me unable to enjoy current content with whatever friends I have playing the same game at the time.

I just had to come here and give Arena Net credit for their gear system, as I can come back to this game at any time and not feel left behind or left out - aside from grinding out mastery points and unlocking any new mounts that come out, but I can do that in my own time whilst still enjoying the current content with friends!

My eyes damn near welled up when I saw this on the store page. So many fond memories of this game!

Fun little headache. Great couch-game to play with friends.

I very much enjoy playing this game with my mates, as we always seem to have a blast. Granted, I only play the FPP game mode on Oceanic servers, so there's certain points during the day when it just lacks actual people to play against. But, overall, it's a pretty decent game. I enjoy the look and feel of the maps, as well as the item diversity in them. It's one of those games that I would play at LANs and meet-ups, for sure.
