Nice puzzle game, which I enjoyed in the first levels. But later on there is usually only one solution to the tasks and now you have to try around until you find it. From then on it became annoying and frustrating for me.

Nettes Puzzlespiel, welches mir in den ersten Levels Spaß gemacht hat. Aber später gibt es nur noch meistens eine Lösung zu den Aufgaben und nun muss man so lange rumprobieren bis man auf diese kommt. Ab da wurde es für mich nervig und frustrierend.)

I could tell from the beginning that Townsmen came out as a mobile game and was then ported to the PC at some point. You notice this at every turn, because many things are simplified or limited. For example, the interface and controls are unnecessarily cumbersome. It may be good on mobile devices, but on PC the game is simply below average.

Ich spürte es von Beginn an, dass Townsmen als Handyspiel rauskam und dann irgendwann auf den PC portiert wurde. Dies merkt man an jeder Ecke, weil viele Sachen vereinfacht oder eingeschränkt sind. Zum Beispiel das Interface und die Steuerung sind so unnötig umständlich. Mag sein, dass es auf mobilen Geräten gut ist, aber für PC ist das Spiel einfach nur unterdurchschnittlich.)

A very dull game in which you take over the management of the police and have to fight your way through daily police work and political decisions. It may be that the game picks up speed later on, but I found it too dull at the beginning.

Ein sehr stumpfes Spiel bei dem man die Leitung der Polizei übernimmt und sich durch tägliche Polizeiarbeit und politische Entscheidungen kämpfen muss. Kann sein dass das Spiel später noch Fahrt aufnimmt, aber zu Beginn fand ich es zu öde.)

It's a good game for learning, experimenting and playing around with a steam engine. The game probably won't keep you entertained for long, but it was nice to have tried it out.

Es ist ein gutes Spiel zum lernen, experimentieren und rumspielen mit einer Dampfmaschine. Das Spiel wird einen vermutliche nicht länger unterhalten, aber es war doch schön es mal ausprobiert zu haben.)

A fun game at the beginning with interesting gameplay, but it gets very annoying and frustrating if you don't think exactly like the developers. Then you just wildly click on everything and try everything with everyone just to get ahead.

Ein witziges Spiel zu Beginn mit interessantem Gameplay, aber es wird sehr nervig und frustrierend, wenn man nicht genau so denkt wie die Entwickler. Dann klick man einfach nur noch wild alles an und alles wird mit jedem ausprobiert, nur um weiter zu kommen.)

+ beautiful landscapes in different biomes
+ entertaining dialogs
+ nice story especially with the last DLC "Trespasser"
+ nice accompanying music and also vocals
+ after some quests you can still play judge and influence the story of the prisoners
- EA launcher
- character level balance: if you do most of the quests you are overleveled and if you turn on the "slow leveling" option you are underleveled
- "automatic" missions take too long and you always have to travel back to the base
- melee fighters block and push each other away
- looting is cumbersome and requires too many clicks
- menu controls are designed for consoles

It has some weaknesses and doesn't come close to the first part of the series, but is still a good open world RPG if you ignore the many boring side quests.

+ nach einigen Quests kann man noch Richter spielen und die Story der Gefangenen beeinflussen

- Charakterstufen Balance: wenn man die meisten Quests macht ist man überlevelt und wenn man die "langsames Leveln"-Option anstellt ist man unterlevelt
- "automatische" Missionen dauern zu lange und man muss immer wieder langwierig zurück in die Basis reisen
- Nahkämpfer blockieren und drängen sich gegenseitig weg
- Looten ist umständlich und benötigt zu viele Klicks
- Steuerung der Menüs ist für Konsolen ausgelegt

Es hat einige Schwächen und kommt nicht an den ersten Teil der Reihe ran, aber ist trotzdem ein gutes Open World RPG, wenn man die vielen langweiligen Nebenquests ignoriert.)

A board game that should not have been released as a video game. Small World plays very slowly and sluggishly. No tension is built up by its elements and one move simply follows the next.

Ein Brettspiel was eher nicht als Videospiel hätte heraus kommen sollen. Small World spielt sich sehr zäh und träge. Durch seine Elemente wird keinerlei Spannung aufgebaut und ein Spielzug folgt einfach auf den nächsten.)

A good sense of humor and the beautiful style are positive things to mention. Unfortunately, the whole game was conceived for the smartphone and that's how it felt. The controls for the gameplay feel very strange.

Ein guter Humor und der schöne Style sind positiv zu erwähnen. Das ganze Spiel ist leider für das Smartphone erdacht und so fühlte es sich auch an. Die Steuerung zu dem Gameplay wirkt sehr befremdlich.)

The same applies to the expansion as I already wrote about the basic game. The following should also be mentioned for the DLC:
+ story connects seamlessly
+ maps even more beautifully designed
+ new entertaining characters
- story gives possible answers but forces you to make a certain decision

Für die Erweiterung gilt das gleiche, was ich schon über das Grundspiel schrieb. Zusätslich ist für das DLC noch folgendes zu erwähnen:
+ Story verbindet nahtlos
+ Karten noch schöner gestaltet
+ neue unterhaltsame Charaktere
- Story gibt Antwortmöglichkeiten aber zwingt zu einer bestimmten Entscheidung)

A Serious Sam that you can happily skip. The game is frustrating and exhausting. A bullet hell where you can't dodge. Nobody had probably thought about the balance.

Ein Serious Sam was man gerne überspringen kann. Das Spiel ist frustrierend und anstrengend. Ein Bullet Hell bei dem man nicht ausweichen kann. Über die Balance hatte sich vermutlich keiner Gedanken gemacht.)
