Cant even comprehend amount of work put into this mod as much as i cant comprehend a fact that this is a MOD not a standalone game.

And here with a 'Mod' comes inevitable comparison with original.
Bad things:
-Awful lot of things make a 'mine' sound when its not a mine (i.e. Battery).
-Misleading mechanics of Gauss Pistol: Gauss pistol shows 0 (entropy zero *chukle*) ammo in pocket, but in fact it shows secondary charge. Gauss Pistol cant be reloaded, but if you empty clip character reloads it back to full. Got many moments where i shot clip empty into floor to force reload for engagement with fresh clip. Inconsistency of design.
-In first hour when you get to electrified fence game tells you to treat it as a physics puzzle and avoid electricity using different phys objects, but in the same time punishes this phys puzzle by leaving in your sight OBVIOUS WAY OUT (As it turns out not) in the railing spacing above containers, but there is a invisible wall (game was like "hey, you are not supposed to even be here, how did you get here? Stacking crates? Wait, thats illegal!"). inconsistency in design.
--Gray fence on gray concrete concept killed me. 'Wall' fence was sparking, but 'floor' fence wasnt - making it even more camouflaged death trap than it has to be. Not touching hurt walls on wobbly objects was even more harder. Level design quite good, but 'game level' design awful.
-'Hot air in cold space' particles immidiatly igneted HL2 ravenholm instinct to ignite it as it was a gas particles from hl2. Got a brain fart when i shot it and it didnt light up in flames. Fun fact later this same effect used for actual gas. inconsistency.
-In a room with monitor and rebel looking at you thru narrow window the monitor itself is usable before it actualy needed to be (level design wise). Clicked it bunch of times, gone further. Then when lights lead you to this monitor you dont recognize this monitor as a 'quest objective'. Got lost at this part, cliked this monitor out of confusion and despair, nothing significant happened, got lost and confused again, few minutes later clicked it few times again and now wow, there is something, door is opened now, you had to click it few times to progress. An object that few moments ago did nothing when you clicked it few times.
Bad UX in general:
-It actualy realy cool when combine mates throw grenade and actualy count down till explosion. You feel like you are in real team and like "Oh, buddy, you say grenade explodes in five and then i can go blasting out of cover? Yeah! Lets do this! Lets do this team play thingy! You count i go! ZERO! Here i come rebel scu- WAIT WHERE IS EXPLOSION YOU SAID ZE- IT EXPLODED IN MY FACE!". Faculty deprivation seems like totaly throws your inner timer in disarray, huh?
-In prison character has a lot of comments. Practicaly commenting each lion hit. Later commenting on rebels running. Commenting on rebels hiding. Rebels with a fricking jump suits? WTF is this Alien tech? Say something? No everyday stuff, no comment, continue testing blasting. inconsistency.
-Apparently genome can spit (or thorw something) at you if it cant reach you. But it cant if you in a vents.

Overall realy impresive, want this to be even more impresivbe for other few who give it a try.
1 out of 2 needed seats on top of APC avaliable for turrets. (Sorry Wilson. White turret more useful than you, seems you have to stay here.). 10 out of 10 would cheese genome with white turret again. //Playthru not complete, experience may varry//

As the one, who played original mod and 2013 release i was expecting a lot of things from this Ultra Delux edition. A lot BUT an a Minecraft MLG water bucket fall damage safe during one of a original endings bucket remasters. 10 out of 10 tears during bucket escape pod ending.

Rising storm vietnam 2 its when you recieve 7Gb update, but steam download ENTIRE FKING GAME TAKING 50Gb of disk space. Why do you need to make update system, when you just can make steam to replicate whole game each 50Mb update?
Sounds legit, oh, wait, i have only 10Gb space.... but update just 7Gb.... Why steam says, that i dont have enough space? Oh, that game, i havent played it sine last week, i guess i can delete it. Ok, 15Gb still no go. One more game, some workshop mods, some american residents database, some atomic warheads, some life removed.... finaly game is updating, it just needed 50Gb space. What its downloading? >>SteamApps\downloading\418460 ... Oh its just ENTIRE FKING GAME THERE, HOW SMART OF YOU! AND NOW I HAVE JUST A RISING STORM AND A STEAM ON MY DRIVE, BECAUSE I HAD TO DELETE EVERYTHING ELSE TO UPDATE ONE GAME. But... what if.... this is a smart marketing move to prevent customers to play other games and focus only on rising storm, just because they need to delete everything else to play it? How cunning of you, tripwire! 11 out of 10 Gb drives used to update single game.

As expected. Overhyped and overrated game.
When you first start it you'll understand (I realy hope, that you didnt saw, what i saw and sucessfuly launched a game): This is not a AAA game. It's just an INDIE craft. I got prepared to see a game, that was totaly not that NMS as was said. But i still didnt expected a Crash report after 2 sec of runtime.
1 hour later we got an update 18mb. Nothing changed. It added a VCRedist 2010.
BTW great game.
Completed it on Youtube.
(hope they fix a startup crash in les then a day)
