Although I really want to give this game a good review, I don't do it and this is why.
I really love the visuals and the story. The fox that's so playful, the information you get, the way it's made. It's really loveable and that's what I really enjoy about this game and wants me to keep playing it.

But really... The controls are sh*t. Especially if you play it in single player. You sometimes have to change characters pretty fast but the game is just too slow for it to do so. It's reacting so late to it.
I also got killed numbers of times because the NPC character (which one I was not playing) fell off, or got killed another way. Like... How am I suppose to control it that the NPC is jumping wrong on places they should have been easily been able to jump right. It was not in a co-op part where you had to change. It's very annoying when that happens because you have to replay it while it wasn't your fault.
There are so many bugs in the game that it just got me on a point I cannot continue. At first I thought I was doing something wrong, that I didn't see the clue. But after 15 minutes I decided to look up a play through and the thing that happened in there, was something I had already done! And the man was still chasing me down and killing me. And every time I respawned, I spawned next to the platform instead of on it, leaving me for death as there is no way to escape.
I am still not passed that point because the game keeps bugging and I just cannot continue. Which sucks, because I really want to finish the game, despite the controls being ♥♥♥♥ and slowly reacting and buggy all the time.

I really hope the bugs are getting fixed because it's just annoying and sad, because it's really ruining a very beautiful game. A game that should really be something you get attatched to, but the only feelings I feel is frustration right now. Even when the little fox died, all I could feel was frustration because it wasn't working, instead of sad that it died, what I would normally feel.

This game broke my heart T^T

The graphics, the story, the music and how further I got the more I wanted from this game!
This game still has me at heart and it was such a good story line and I really have love for this game. The gameplay is something that I seriously enjoyed and this game made me so emotional. Still think this game deserved the cry award instead of the Walking Dead.
For all the things I did in the game, I rewinded, tried to make up what would be best and all that. Yet... The end, was the only time I did not rewind because it was such a big decission. And ow... how I regretted mine xD

Choose well.....

I am playing the sims for years now and I still love it! Always played it on discs and now I bought it on steam because the expensions are still here online and that is what I love. So I sold all my discs and got this one right here.

I do have some annoying things to say about the steam version though. While the game supports different languages, including my main language (Dutch), you were not able to choose the language when installing the game. So now the complete game is in English. Normally I don't like English, but everything is called so differently that I really have to learn the game completely again because I can't find things. I'm sure I get used to it, but I wanted to write it down right here, because for other people it might be a probkem.

Also my sims are not changing work clothes. Like if you get a promotion they used to get a new uniform. THey are on niveau 10 right now and they are still wearing the same old annoying carrier 1 outfit.

For the rest I didn't notice much bugs yet. I do love that the game on steam feels lighter thn the cames on cd-rom. My laptop can handle it way better right now.
Now only saving for more expensions cause I am missing my expension packages I used to play with x3

THis is a terrible game and I wasted my money. I miss the explenations about what's happening to you. Everything is done for you without an explenation. It really is annoying. Where do I have to pay for? Why do I get payed? No. Just no!

I'm done with this game even before I start playing. It refuses me to register, it refuses to close and it refuses to go to the chat. Can't login with my steam account, it says my account doesn't exist, litteraly, I can't do anything. NOT worth the money.

This was my first review way way back. I completely forgot the rest of the review after playing it more.
Right now I love the game. It's also one of my most played games and I love to get the achievements. Sometimes I ragequit because of some people that ruin the game, but yet I play it a lot it's just a lot of fun.
I do think that the game can become more fun if you are able to make your own avatar. I still find that there is little choice for female characters and that what there is is just bad mostly. I kind of dislike the characters for female players and I wish there were more of those.
