It has it all!
Short and Sweet Arcade Games, Mind-bending Puzzle Games, great (local) Multiplayer, some really unique RPGs and even a point and click horror adventure game... loving every minute I spend playing it.

Completionists will have a hell of a time with this one, however, as each game requires you to be pretty proficient at them to "clear" it. Some can be beaten in under an hour, but others will likely require much practice and strategy.

After a little obtuse tutorial, and you read up on a character you might enjoy.. try out some bot matches and get a grip with the map layout. Once you do that you can create an Item Set & Route for gameplay to make an engaging loop for any character.

Combat is usually one-sided depending on how quickly your build/mastery has gotten along in the match. Micromanaging is key!

Dumb fun smashin' racin' game. Excellent crash realism with the right settings.
Only downside, for me, is that you need to port forward to host games in multiplayer.
It's not a huge deal if you're playing with friends, to just find an available server being hosted though; it seems like there's always a bunch of people on.

Amazingly addicting, simple to grasp.

A real strategy-based deckbuilding roguelite.

Game feels very slow, with no mechanics to chain the combat together. I played for around half an hour and encountered a bug where my co-op friend was sent into the match without a character. When we did end up playing together it was alright but the first boss was super annoying to deal with. Melee characters get punished for existing, and Rose, the ranged character, loses her actual viability by being hit once at all. Without the stacks she can't move fast enough to avoid enemies that jump/dash and she does peanuts for damage.
The heal/tank unit has to gather Mushrooms to generate a heal, but it takes too long to find any between the pummeling you're receiving because you're a melee character.
Varag is cool on paper but as the combat boils down to 'Rightclick to attack, Q to jump once in a while', it gets very boring quickly.

Couldn't even finish the first level because with 2 AI, I died at the end point when they got stuck in the literal endless horde that beats you to hell *even on normal difficulty* in seconds.

I believe this game can become something enjoyable, but right now it's a souring experience.

TL;DR:
You get beat on rapidly without much option other than melee/jump away.
Combat needs to be adjusted so you're not just smacking enemies 4+ times with the same repetitive attack.
Fix Rose's passive so she's not a wet noodle if she takes damage. It's unavoidable.

If you're really looking to improve this game, look to how a game like Dead Island: Epidemic worked. It had a good combat flow and fun mechanics. Right now this game is just RMB simulator

Fluid combat system in the vein (haha) of Soulslikes, with enough diversity that most players will find this an enjoyable experience.

There's a lot of cutscenes and an anime-style story to follow, but if you can complete look past these and enjoy the gameplay, there's still a lot to behold.

Would definitely recommend to anybody looking to try their hand at a soulslike game, as the difficulty is very forgiving with any of the AI partners available to you. Without them, certain parts of the game feel a tad unfair, but it's nothing you can't get past.

Easy 9/10.

Also there's a character customization tool that can hold you for hours if that's your sort of thing.
