Is it weird that I liked it when the girl called me puppy?

A perfect little game to sink time into, wonderfully relaxing. And taught my perfectionist ass to chill and not try to maximise profit across the first 3 days.

Never before have I enjoyed a game so thoroughly.

Difficult to start, but SO rewarding to play. I just finished another playthrough, this time with the War Of The Chosen DLC, and 100% recommend picking it up.

Only minor thing is that there are MANY bugs that are prevalent in the game, I've had cases of my characters not being able to move until I reload a save, another time when (during an overwatch shot) the game just stood staring at a dead body, then eventually skipped the rest of the alien turn because it took so long.

An absolute gem of a game. Honestly please do pick it up if you can. Its a 4 to 5 hours very well spent.

My only quarries with the game are:
- That you can't skip what the narrator says - which can get tedious when you're trying to fill out every single ending possible.
- Sometimes the combat/movement is a little buggy.
- I experienced some rough fps issues, which doesn't make sense when you consider how simplistic the game is in comparison to some other games that I can run very well. Most likely just bad optimisation.

Despite these 3 flaws, the game is brilliant. A very interesting concept that took me by surprise, a well-thought out story involving characters that aren't just generic and from the cookie cutter. And when I wasn't experiencing fps drops, the combat feels rewarding, along with the small upgrade system.

Probably one of the best games of its genre. Really nice pixel graphics combined with a Banished-style city building experience. Very easy to pick up - I found myself quickly understanding the game despite there being no tutorial!

Once you've overcome your first few small challenges, it feels quite easy; I ended up just continuing to expand my city across 3 islands before realising just how easy it is to waste time on this little gem of a game.

Can't wait for maybe some updates to building you can have (plus the Mason seems to have no use atm), will update as game develops.

A wonderful game. I got this as an extra from humblebundle when I was buying other games. At the time I thought that it was something to flesh out my library and didn't care much. Then one night I decided to start the game.

A masterpiece.

A truly intruiging story accompanied by small, yet funny jokes and references to too many other games to count. There's a little bit of platforming, an optional card game, some stealth, even some street fighter inspiration! The game also transitions between several different art styles masterfully as the story progresses.

Don't spoil the story for yourself. Buy the game and play it. Have fun!
