Great story, memorable characters.

I enjoyed this more than AAT.

NOT FOR FULL PRICE.

I would recommend it at 50-75% off, but only if you really enjoyed TGAAC (and AAT).

The pacing is slower and each section takes longer to complete. Which might make you think "Great! more story" but not really. There's a noticeable issue with unnecessary recaps which most egregiously happens in Turnabout Serenade.

There are some really good cases but overall it's less enjoyable than AAT.

I didn't dislike any of the characters but also didn't care about most of them unlike in the other games, they feel very shortlived.

Early Access Review
I supported the game and bought the rabby tier way back in 2014. Still not finished...

Following the dev blog on and off over the years, sometimes there's good progress, sometimes it's extremely slow.

The game isn't even particularly long. Story mode is about ~15 hours, if you stop to grind for fun and explore.

It's a fun game, but they've been 'close' to finishing the main story for like well over a year.

need to link your facebook / google account for rankings... in pc game using a Steam account.

Explain how that makes any sense.

Great games, great characters and stories. Much Improved graphics.
A definite recommend on sale, full price if you're a Mass Effect fan and know for sure you like the game.

Issues I had:
  • You need an Origin account / launcher to play - not a big deal for me, it auto logs in. But a mild annoyance.
  • Negative mouse acceleration - cannot be turned off in ME1, can be turned off in ME2 and ME3 (Called mouse dampening)
  • No FOV Slider - There are workarounds in the steam guides section / forums but the lack of an inbuilt option is weak.
  • Mild glitchiness - often getting stuck in the corners of some objects in ME2, Vanguard Charge sometimes also ends up stuck and had to reload in ME2.
  • Spacebar does EVERYTHING - So many times I was trying to loot something or sprint but ended up crouching behind cover, so annoying.
  • Lack of graphic options - The game ran at 1440p 144hz for the majority of the time for me, but being able to turn some things down would be nice.

The gameplay does feel dated at times but remember, these are old games.
Otherwise, they're the same great games with remastered graphics packed into one launcher.

A very good rhythm game, love the art style and music.

The overworld/cutscenes are a bit buggy, but the rhythm game aspect plays fine.

You can turn of the blur and effects in the options.

The only major issue with this game is that the keybinds cannot be rebound, although it seems this will be added in the future.

Elite and Dash have the same crappy odd unchangeable keybinds as the previous VN's BUT does not have any mouse support.

Instead of pressing the right mouse button to open/close the menu / go back you have to press 1 to open the menu, arrow keys to navigate, then BACKSPACE to close it. Pressing ESC opens a dialog box for closing the game.
Instead of pressing the left mouse button to advance text, you have to press spaceback / arrow keys.

The lack of basic mouse support and not having trading cards (for which they could use any piece of preexisting artwork from this VISUAL novel) shows the laziness of this port.

----------------------

I don't recommend buying this unless it's on sale / mouse support is added / or you have a gamepad.

I love the series and was super hyped when the localisation was announced well over a year go, but I can't support a game on PC that does not include the most basic of mouse functions.

I have played games that were designed to be played with a gamepad but still had mouse functionality for menus/etc. There is no excuse for it. Steins;Gate (0) has it, Chaos;Child has it. Why don't these two?
