Chinese players are fundamentally incompatible with fair-play and ought to be confined to a region-locked server. This would create an enjoyable environment for Europeans to play on European servers in peace without hordes of aimbotting Chinese players, for lack of a better word, infesting the servers. No matter which region you play on in this game you'll get killed by Chinese attention seekers with Multi-Hack. I strongly advise against buying this game. Don't get me wrong, it's an enjoyable game and I'm hooked. It's akin to an abusive relationship my partner beats me, abuses me and then takes my money. Don't get into an abusive relationship with PUBG Corp, Don't repeat my mistake. Play a game that has proper anti-china measures in place.

October 2020 update - Less Chinese but they've been replaced with bots now, still a game being mismanaged and abused by the developers who are only interested in squeezing money from it.

This game is the game that every FPS should aspire to be. Excellent gameplay, extremely large range of minigames or various other game modes that you can play if you're not satisfied with the flagship game modes. I.e Classic 5v5 competitive games.

The game is quite infested with skin related crap, but that's half the fun for some players and it's essentially harmless as it doesn't change gameplay in any way. All items are cosmetic and don't offer any advantages. Additions to this game from outside the official development team also offer another avenue for players. Especially those seeking competitive gaming; Several organisations offer the chance to play on 128 Tick 5v5 matchmaking servers instead of the regular 64 tick Valve Official servers. Some of these organisations will request a small monthly fee for this priviledge, others are free. This game has something for everyone.

Alpha, This is the word you need to keep in mind when buying and playing this game. The game has a great development team behind it, I've never seen a game in Alpha being updated so often. no DLC or other garbage which is all too common nowdays just new content added on a daily basis. To give you some kind of idea... When i bought and downloaded the game it was just 14GB in size, Currently the game is now 27GB in size and expanding. Just bare in mind that the game IS still an alpha despite how well taken care of it is, So if you encounter imperfections and small bugs then you know why. Note - Developers are very proactive with fixing bugs when they are told about them.

The game has excellent graphics, addictive gameplay and solid depth of content. The game offers interesting, diverse and sometimes unusual gameplay, I've enjoyed the time that i've spent playing the game as it has aspects that i've never encountered before. The only major issue that this game faces is the obvious lack of optimization that punishes those without a state of the art PC. If you've not got a high-ish spec gaming PC then you're likely to be unable to play this game in high graphics settings (which looks incredible if you're able..) without having very low FPS and getting lags in certain situations. Aside from the low fps issues this game is well worth buying, especially now that it's cheaper than nearly every other title that offers a gaming experience of this calibre.

This game isn't brand new anymore and as such it must be said that the graphics aren't the reason anyone should buy this game. If you're looking for a game that's amazing to look at so that you can take tacky screenshots to post on your hideous profile then this isn't the right choice. If you want a game with exciting and extremely diverse gameplay, with game modes that offer a whole plethora of experiences and cater to many different tastes then this is the game to buy. Great value for money, A real classic that will keep you entertained for a long time if you manage to discover the particular game mode that suits you best. The game is also supported by a (once) strong modding community that has created an extensive collection of mods and additional content such as maps and minigames for you to enjoy.

Must be said that the community within certain sections of the game is one of the most toxic, unfriendly and devoid of skill that you will find anywhere. Don't expect a warm greeting in versus mode if you're new to the game and have little experience and skill. You will be kicked again and again; My advice is that you should play campaign until you have a solid grasp of how the game works before playing versus or your experience might not be very enjoyable.
