Anymore I have a hard time believing that “spreading misinformation” sensu stricto is even in the mods’ remit — lots of it tend to persist — but certainly seems inappropriate to call it naming-and-shaming insofar as I understand the intent — what’s the shame in a user pointing out another recommends blocking them? Not exactly common to see users dogpiling someone due to their block list.

...you lack understanding of the context of my meaning, alright- that's fair, it's kind of vague I admit- but early on in the pages there's Fluxtorrent admitting openly a false claim about myself for instance, that I "tell other users to block him" - in Flux own words. - I think page 6 (by 15 post standards.)? .. that's against the rules, because it's naming and shaming, or false information.

Eh, Mondays seem to have been like this, lately, with moderation slow to cycle back up to even the contemporary level of activity.

The pattern of troughs-and-crests of moderation seem apparent enough, anyway.

There is certainly content I cannot understand Valve’s tolerance for — I’ve been attributing it to my own sensibilities being a bit .... sensitive.

I’m still not confident to accept the bulk of the issue is the rules per se. Rather this is a consequence of paying clueless, uninterested people to manage such a sprawling, complicated, active community.
