having a great time,
i cant wait for the rest of the game

after finishing the story and all the research (so far) this is my 2 cents

The good
- being on a train is fun
- animations feel slick
- there is just the right amount of combat and puzzles to break up floating around in the void

The bad:
-it felt like i was in a tutorial for a good 6 hours
-resource gathering can be grindy
-i had one crash (early on and i think it was related to doing the story out of order)
-that big bug in the arena can just launch you into the air anywhere on the map even if you're far away and out of vision. coupled with some other bugs you can get juggled without the ability to do anything

Thoughts:
i could do with less hand holding. Don't explain every single thing to me as i find it. let me find out what a mine does if i step on it, i want to dive head first into danger and figure out what not to do. sure, keep all the data in the journal so i can look it up if i get stuck - but please don't give me a big pop up notifying me about something i could discover myself

being a survival game, it can be a bit grindy at times but i found that once you had a train stocked you only needed to replace a few items as you use them

TL:DR
the game is super polished. being a survival game it can be grindy, puzzles are fun. i like how combat is shaping up.

if you're on the fence- its still early access

game hit me in the emotions at one point. 10/10

This game is just as amazing now as it was 20 years ago.
