it's criminally cheap, beautifully designed and insanely fun.

EXCELLENT GAME TURNED PREDATORY CASHGRAB

Most recent update (companions) has introduced BIG improvements to overall progression and character power... LOCKED behind a gacha-level RNG paywall. (with only a single ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ once a week!) Dev introduced a new, second premium currency which only use (as of now) is to unlock those broken companions.
No pity system either so you could drop hundreds or more and not get the chase pet.
Dev announced pets rotating out as well so he went by the book introducing FOMO and gambling mechanics.

In its current state I CAN NOT recommend this game anymore, which is very sad.

I don't usually review specific DLC on Steam but as of writing this there's lots of negative reviews and I feel obligated to counterbalance it. Let me be clear, this is not a 10/10 DLC. It's rather mediocre to be honest, but it's certainly not bad. As someone else said, it's not a must-have, but if you simply want more out of Remnant, get it. (maybe on sale)

It's really sad that this game has been overlooked by the majority. It's kind of a hidden gem among souls-like games. Generally quite challenging without demanding too much from you. (Depending on difficulty setting)
DLC adds some nice content as well, they enable some cool build setups and enhance what's already there with new bosses (Swamps of Corsus has the best boss in the game by far) and with Subject 2923 a new campaign area.

If you have any interest, pick it up and give it a try.

Cute little indie game with RPG mechanics where you level up your stats by playing related minigames. Hit targets, dodge attacks, block incoming projectiles. It’s quite fun but a bit grindy. If you’re not convinced that you’d like it: Get it on sale.
I got 100% achievements unlocked and I would say I got my moneys worth.

Short and simple: If you haven’t played this game yet, go play it.
Team Cherry has done an amazing job, there’s just so much high-quality content. Quite hard at times, but very rewarding. Lots of endgame challenges for those that seek out greater challenges.

Honestly one of the best Visual Novels out there, in my opinion.
You get to decide which skills you want to focus on during class and there’s a lot of them. Lots of replay value as well due to short length for a full playthrough (and maybe some early exits here and there). It’s also quite cheap. Go get it!
