Dying Light 2: Stay Human

Overall a good game, but not as good as the first one. The visuals are better and the gameplay is more polished, but the story is worse along with the optimization. 75% of the side quests were either repetitive or forgettable and the map was awful to navigate. Also, at least in multiplayer the game seemed to have a lot of bugs. But nonetheless, I had fun with the game.

Road 96

The setting is great and the story is okay. The story does have some twists and turns but it doesn't have much depth. The setting is interesting with its authoritarian nation aspect and manages to raise some questions while playing. Your decisions do not affect the story but they do affect your experience. For example, you can die because of your decisions.

The soundtrack, vibes and general art direction are awesome. The game is neither too long nor too short.

Alan Wake

The gameplay loop can get a bit boring, but the story and atmosphere keep the game interesting.

Gameplay wise, I didn't like how the enemies kept spawning behind my back and how the ax throwers almost never miss with their unlimited supply of axes. Also, the dodging felt a little awkward.

Divinity: Original Sin 2

An outstanding game with challenging and intriguing combat. The gameplay is exploring, looting and talking for the most part, but that isn't to say there is not enough fighting. The sheer number of quests and choices the game offers can be overwhelming for some players, especially when the game doesn't directly tell where to go and what to do. The majority of the puzzles are very intricate and require the player to pay attention to almost every dialogue and book. In this game, virtually everything has its purpose.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice

It's an outstanding work of art. The gameplay is remarkable and the scenery is breathtaking. The soundtrack and story are splendid as well, but they are nothing mind blowing.

However, the game can quickly get rather exhausting, since the game throws mini-bosses after mini-bosses at you and as a reward you get to kill a main boss; you don't really get a lot of breathing room. The game could be called a boss rush in that regard. Fortunately several mini-bosses can be skipped, if one so chooses, and the versatile stealth mechanics and surroundings add a lot of depth to the gameplay.

Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights

Everything was phenomenal except the map system. In the end I somehow managed to memorize most of the rectangles from the map, but it could have helped to have some location names or colors corresponding the region you are in or anything.

The Walking Dead

Amazing game series.

The story is the reason to play these games. Gameplay is nothing special, mostly just quick time events and choices. Season 1 has a few puzzles which makes the gameplay more interesting and I was hoping to see more of that in the later seasons, but unfortunately that didn't come true. Although, from a gameplay point of view season 4 has something too: An actual combat system, so you can (for the first time) control your character while fighting against the dead.

On a general level I enjoyed the horror/tension the games had and the art style. Most of the music was memorable too.

Valheim

A fun game with friends, but the amount of time you spend grinding for crafting materials is not fun.

Little Nightmares

A very atmospheric and generally well designed game. Very short though.
