Helldivers 2 is a great Co-Op shooter. I have had a blast playing with friends and randoms alike. As someone who has purchased this day 1 AND has linked their PSN account on the first day I understand that frustrations of the current SONY post.

Just like Microsoft with the MCC (Master Chief collection) they made it required to make an Xbox network account to play. The primary reason why Microsoft and Sony do these things is for shareholders to look at a bigger graph for monthly or new users joining the franchise.

My reasoning for not recommending the game is for the people who can't make a PSN to play this game. Sony has done a bait and switch on those countries that they don't support with their services but still allowed it to be purchasable here on steam till recently.

Remember it is not AH fault for this mess it is Sony's

TLDR Wait for SALE the game is only getting 1 map per season and a handful of toys

I preordered like most people, following and believing in DICE that this game will finally be a good battlefield.

BF2042 was buggy in the beginning, with season 1 the game is very fun to play in terms of gun play and the new map but people want more like myself. With the latest Battlefield Briefing season 2 will only have one new map and maybe a two new toys to play with along side one new operator. Now in the past BF3/4 had expansion passes which contained 2-3 new maps, new guns,new vehicles. In BF2042's state I hard recommend waiting for a sale.

I have played around 40 hours currently at the writing of this.
The combat is good.
The crafting is great.
the sound is great.
The only problem i have is only one ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ person can skin a bear for a faction quest and get credit.
