I've been playing since day 1 on a standalone pc client.

Even though Reverse 1999 is a gatcha game, it for sure is an unique one.
Art, music and story are incredible. You can really see that someone put their heart into it, instead of just making it another cash grab. While I'm a big fan of experiencing stories in single player games, I usually skip them in multiplayer (in this case gatcha) games, but it's not a case for this one.

They're pretty generous with premium currency, pull rates are okay and there's actually plenty of decently priced skins for many characters.

I can wholeheartedly recommend Reverse 1999, I really want this game to succeed in the world with so many bland, over-sexualized cash grabs

After many breaks I've finally managed to finish this game.

Beginning of this review may not sound too encouragingly,
nonetheless I'm still going to recommend this game to every fan of intresting, addicting stories.
Unfortunately, somewhere in the middle of a game combat get's pretty boring and predictable, what caused me to put it off for some time. Although, as soon as you get hooked into story (and in my opinion well developed charcacters), you'll play it even just to know what happens next.
Luckily you can change the difficulty to easy, which will fasten your adventure.
As in every FF game the soundtrack is outstanding and the graphics still suprise in some aspects.

I'd recommend you to just take out your controller, lay comfortably on a bad/chair and enjoy the game, cuz that's what it's made for.

Summarizing,
The game is pretty mediocre,
but the stroy is definitelly enjoyable!

I've played this game a lot as you can see, but as of now I wouldn't recommend it to people that look for an mmorpg experience.

Game engine is literally the worst you could find in any game of this type, animation locks, snapshots, delays are standard.
Every raid is scripted meaning that after learning just few patterns, you should be able to do the fights with your eyes closed.
Job design used to be much more unique and challenging, but the direction they took in this regard is making every class very similar and easier with each expansion. The idea of being able to level every class on one character may seem amazing at first, but the gameplay wont change much between them (You may feel a bit more edgy on some of them tho).

Pvp doesn't really exist. Every class has like 5 buttons and tickrate is comparable to manually sending data packet from EU to US with a pigeon, adding the animation locks + pretty common scripting; you get the idea.

Cant really judge the story as it's for sure a personal preference, but you will have to go through it to unlock endgame stuff, so expect to spend few hours on that first.

And now the aspect I actually recommend the game for: The Sims 14 Online (I think this name would fit the game better)
A lot of clothing options, social interactions, nightclubs, plenty of naked furries waiting to show you their modded c0ck and b4lls etc. If that's your thing then you wont be disappointed.

I really liked this game, but cuz of the noticeable direction of making everything casual + taking only safe choices, I feel like it lost its edge
