The gameplay loop is enjoyable and addicting enough that I tolerate the RNG enough. I thought the balance the demo had felt fine, so far with my limited time goofing on the full game, it's felt fine, but I notice they just did some updates balancing stuff to make it a bit easier and more approachable, which is appreciated. The mostly negative comes from a lot of chinese reviews complaining about the RNG or the price, but I personally was okay paying $15 for this compared to how much time just the demo alone got from me. I would recommend it personally, and it seems like they're only fixing and improving it. Give it a chance if you're curious

Control scheme isn't really fun from what I was expecting, unless my PS4 controller is just being dumb with this game specifically.
Pause menu definitely needs some work, as given the way the UI is designed, I expected it to explain how to perform each trick shown in the pause menu, but nothing happens no matter what I hit.
Have difficulty picking up/maintaining my speed, and any collision with anything at all will cause you to bail, which if you're going for realism is understandable, but for a game looking to be a spiritual successor to the Skate series, it's too janky and out of place. Perhaps this game will get better with time, but for me, as of right now, definitely not worth $20, and I'm hoping I can get the money back for this game.

This is a game I've spent my entire childhood on
This game was my nostalgia, the only thing I grew up with.
The original was simply amazing, the IZJS remake on PS2 was even better, removing damage limit, adding job capabilities, new items, new modes, everything you could dream of.
This port adds even more on top of that, aside from the visual specaluarity it gives, it adds the ability to choose New Game modes from the beginning, Two job modes, and even more. If you're new to either the Final Fantasy series, or new to this game, this port is the way to go to introduce yourself for sure.
While yes, a lot of people seem to think Denuvo=No Purchase, and I myself was a little worried, it appears to be running fine no matter what, so don't let that deter you if you're considering purchasing this.
TL;DR Please, buy it, it's worth every penny, for the immense enjoyment this can provide with so many different gameplay styles.
