I never review games on Steam. Not because I don't like/dislike anything on here, more because I'm never compelled enough to leave one. That changed when I came across this beauty here.

DRG is amazing. The game is coop focused making it significantly less toxic than other gaming communities. The playerbase really just wants to have fun and mine some ore. The combat is fast but isn't overwhelming until later difficulties (anyone with relative shooter experience can easily survive hazard 3 or below).
The balance between the four classes is well thought out, each having their own role within the team. The engi makes platforms and turrets to defend specific areas or to simply help traverse the map. The gunner has access to ziplines which the rest of the team can use to get around as well. Not to mention his insane damage output. The scout has a personal grappling hook for traversal and a flare gun for the most effective lighting in the game (more important than one might think). Finally, the driller ensures everyone has a good path through the level by being the fastest excavator in the game.

Oh did i forget to mention, you're a combat miner?
because that's a thing. Every class has access to a pickaxe, which they can use to dig anywhere on the map, a la Minecraft (this time with curves, circles, corkscrews, bunkers, death pits, you name it you can dig it).

This is easily my game of the decade, and everyone who wants a relaxed video game to just jam to music with (gods the soundtrack is good) and kill some bugs should try it.
