Back in my day OWI used to stand for Off With your money Industries. The Glory days, V9. During V8 they were like a dad leaving to buy a pack of smokes but instead these ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ just got lost on the way to the store and after 11 months somehow, through their own sheer incompetence, made their way back home and by accident bought you the V(9) Energy drink you were asking for. And for a while things seemed okay, better than okay. Competitive wasn't a sin, OCE had multiple teams, BTRs and Stykers were added to the game and clashed like the titans of the battlefield that they were and somehow didn't feel overbearing for infantry to deal with. Mortar calcs started to show up, so you no longer had to put hours into theory crafting and pre-zeroing mortar positions. Everyone and their mother didn't have an optic but the shooting mechanics didn't actively try to ♥♥♥♥ you over so the game felt good to play. The list keeps going. But then it happened. The MRAP replaces the Humvee, Mestia gets added. Things were starting to take a turn for the worse but v10 is on the horizon and the new animations look sweet! And vaulting? How cool is that! We must be okay, or so we thought...

Since then, all they do is sit at home all day, mostly doing nothing. But you better believe that when they take action, it's either devoting their collective - just shy of 1 - brain cell into doing something the die-hard, 10 hours of gameplay VETERANS OF THE COMMUNITY reddit MILSIMers want, -2% movement speed changes (because the game is just a tad to close to being fun) OR spending the money you gave them to make your gameplay experience buggier, more broken and worse than it already is. It's not often you come across a game that actively fights you trying to play it after being in the hands of consumers for 8 years but here we are and I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ love it
