Overload features one of the best Singleplayer Campaigns of 2018 (complete with New Game Plus), a Challenge Mode with infinite replay value, a robust Level Editor, and a promising Multiplayer mode. This is without a doubt one of the greatest FPS reboots in gaming. Mix the intensity of a flight sim with the intensity of DOOM and you have Overload.

Give this game a chance. You will not regret it.

Imagine if one of your favorite game franchises went into cryosleep for almost twenty years. Then one day the original creators return on Kickstarter with the spiritual successor you always wanted. Many of the original programmers, artists, map designers, and composers are back. The campaign barely reaches its goal in the final hours.

After two years of frequent updates and playable builds the sequel you never thought would happen arrives...and it just delivers. This is that game for me.

DOOM is the best singleplayer id game since the original Quake and one of the greatest shooters of all time. GOTY 2016.

Overload is a spiritual successor to the classic, award-winning Descent series from the 90's, made by the original creators of the genre. Descent and Overload are "Six-Degree of Freedom" shooters in which you pilot a ship in complete freedom through underground environments and battle hordes of robots.

This game delivers, even at such an early stage in development. The Playable Teaser features a tutorial, a classic singleplayer level, and a Challenge/Survival Mode with awesome replay value. The Challenge Mode is where you are probably going to have the most fun. I streamed it for almost three hours!
