I hope by replaying the first two chapters, I'll hate myself less, and distract myself from the current lack of ending. It's amazing how many times my heart could absolutely drop as I wondered "how much of this is my fault?"

This game is beyond satisfying.

There's already so much to play around with, options to explore--I'll be playing as a different type of character next time, to see how it changes quest options--and it's so very incomplete. I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes.

Relaxing and challenging at the same time. If you take satisfaction from seeing a puzzle together, you will enjoy your time with this.

I've frozen to death, starved, been eaten by wolves and mauled by bears. I've sprained my ankle walking on a flat surface and gotten food poisoning from granola bars. All that, and I keep coming back for more.

I keep playing, and sometimes I just can't make myself stop.

I started over so that I could fully appreciate and enjoy all the changes that have been made since I first started playing. I have no regrets.

Evoland is to adventure RPGs what DLC Quest is to platformers. It's mostly Legend of Zelda mixed with Final Fantasy, and it is delightful. (I'm biased because I hate platforming.)
