Yeah its fine as it is currently. Magic is pretty underwhelming however.

Review is purely for the Multiplayer, read other reviews for the Story

I invested the time required to get to level 50 in this game to make sure I got to experience most of what it had to offer and I was actually incredibly shocked by my terrible experience of the game

Some points include:
- The entire basis of the game feels like an adhd riddled mess. You are rewarded for going fast and being erratic which only appeals to a very niche set of gamers which one can only get by using specific sets of perks. Every other build seems to have bricks tied to your feet.
- Kills feels okay, dying feels like its completely rng based. Why do I flinch when the enemy doesn't? Why did my sniper shot not connect? Why is the enemy specifically looking over there? Why is my SPAS12 taking 5 shots to kill an enemy, and why do the bullets disappear after 2m? I understand now why CoD has so many salty people in nearly every lobby.
- Learning the maps is incredibly painful, you will spend your first 10 games dying from a ton of different angles until you can finally get to grips with the angles
- I still can't decide if the game tries to encourage camping or rushing. The way killstreaks are implemented, it gives me the impression its supposed to be for camping (as you don't want to lose your streak, claymores, movement sensors bypassing ghost, etc...) but the way how grenades are incredibly lethal and how long stun grenades stun, makes me feel like camping isn't a solution, which comes to my next point
- There's a weird meta of tuck and pull where you need to know where the enemy is spawning at all times as its not uncommon to start spawning 3m behind you. Camping a specific corner seems to actually put you into the top fraggers.
- There are a ton of cheap ways to get kills that can only be countered by specific skills, such as grenade launchers, knifing, etc
- After all this time, I feel like I haven't improved at all at the game, my k/d has gotten better but all its done for me is make me bitter when I look at the way the enemy seems to know exactly where you are and where to aim
- Of course the enemy knows where you are because of spy planes, ok, well time to shoot them all down then. The gameplay loop forces you to essentially stop, get a rocket launcher, and shoot down the planes, die, change kits, and then youre back before in the next 30s another spy plane is in the air. If this happens, rinse and repeat.
- Coming from 5000h of CSGO, the netcode in this game is horrendous so much so that if you have a higher ping, you are at an amazing advantage
- Napalm killstreak has incredibly vague hitboxes, so you getting hit by the is a matter of pure luck at times
- If your enemy is prone, it is nigh impossible to see them
- With FF on, it happens incredibly often to shoot down your teammates...not because of an accident but because there are no player outlines or better identifying features for you to notice them with.

14 years on, I am just impressed with how the CoD franchise has any relevancy nowadays. There seems to be a fun game stuck underneath all these terrible design choices but getting a taste of this requires a ton of time investment that I think the average gamer is not going to invest in.

Utterly frustrating

Spawn in, go to temple, get the ♥♥♥♥ kicked out of you by a random high level guy.

Sometimes parries work, other times they dont even fire off. Of course its a dark souls martial arts clone but I felt like I was always completely lost in what does what. Still no idea what fragments do or why I should learn any additional moves if normal punches do the trick?

Crowd control is terrible so why do most bosses spawn with an additional person in it?

Theres a lot to like but its completely overshadowed by the terrible decisions in this game.
