While TorchLight 2 looks like a homage to Diablo 2, TorchLight looks like a homage to the original Diablo. Instead of Church's catacombs here we have the mines under the village, and they are uncounted levels of deep. Every other level we have bosses, quests and stuff.
The game looks good, plays good. Also plays good on a SteamDeck. The game has a small footprint - barely 600 MB, and low system requirements in general.
The game offers 3 classes. Every player has a pet. Every player could (if gather spell scrolls) play as a Necromant from Diablo, having up to dozen minions in total.

Well, it is a second remaster of the game. The first one was made in 2013, the second in 2019.

What do I like in the remaster:
graphics, and most important - animations;
new civilizations (though they could be easily added to the first remaster as a DLC);
new music;
and most important - new AI. Finally, playing the game becoming a challenge for a human being!

What do I dislike in the remaster:
it freezes from time to time.
they have added a lot of CIVs from AOE (original) to AOE 2, even though they are from different ages. What do all these dead Greeks in the game?

Conclusion: solid buy at a sale (50% or bigger discount).

It is a platformer.
Developers used to say that is a very competive genre, so there are a lot games, but this one is a truly masterpiece.
A bit of banal story, but there is a companion, a Fidget, most likely you will love her.
The drawings are good, the levels are not bad, the Fidget is the best.

So, this is the only paid boost pack offered in Steam (comparing to their site), but what you will get:
- 7 premium mechs with premium skins;
- 7 bays (garage slots) to park them in;
- 1 month of Premium Account.
Do I recommend it?
Yes, it is a bargain, especially now, 50% off (first time in the DLC history).

It has a lot of common with Age of Empires, but set in mythology times.
When advancing to a next age, you could choose a bonus by picking up a second minor god.
Titans kinda imbalanced, but when played against AI, could be easily distracted by flying units.

I like the game. It looks and feels like mixture of Heroes of Might and Magic, King's Bounty and X-COM.
What's the most I like in the game? Storyline.
There are also hot-seat multiplayer for battles, good enough to keep you and a friend of yours (if he also played the game) busy for 10-20 minutes.
Try this game. I bought it on sale and for me it worth every cent of discounted price.

Pros:
+A classical RTS game.
+Good modern expansions (all 3 of them). A lot of nations to pick.
+Steam workshop, full of maps, compaigns, graphical sets and so on.
+Multiplayer, a lot of gamers in lobby anytime.

Cons:
-FPS is very unstable even on good hardware (i7 4770, 16GB RAM, GTX 1050Ti, SSD)

Definetly worth to buy, especially when sales comes around.

P.S.: If you didn't play this game and doubt buy it or not, buy it on sale, open Tutorial/Training campaign with William Wallace, and pick up the latest mission, or mission before the latest. 2 hours will be enough to complete any of them and will give an understanding, do you like the game or not.
P.P.S.: this game hits every big sale in Steam with at least 75% discount.
t's almost 2023 now, and I still play the game

I like this game. Especially I like to play for small non-playable by deault fractions. Another plus - it's runs greatly under Linux.

I like this game and have more than 100 hours in it, but sadly, it not appeared in my account, when I played offline (as well as achivements, which I unlocked offline).
It could be a repetitive though, somebody will not like pixel-art graphics.
But it has a good storytelling, a kind humour.
Which I don't like, there is some sidequests, which once appeared after update, to take them you will need buy a DLC.

Well, this game about robots, set in the Battletech Universe, where all running about the Mechwarriors.
If you played old Mechwarrior games, and don't mind about session-type multiplayer games, you should try it.
It is not a cashgrabber (on the date of the review), so you could play easily enough without buying premium-account or premium mechs.
