Rockstar Games, Inc. is a trash company. They grab your money and then intentionally ban all paying (Linux) customers from GTA Online. I just wanted to play some co-op missions with friends. I'll be damned but people at Rockstar should be ashamed. Refund requested.

Unfortunately I can't recommend this game in its current state as the game doesn't even start.

I updated Mesa to the latest git revision (21 devel).
vulkaninfo |grep VK_VALVE_mutable_descriptor_type outputs
VK_VALVE_mutable_descriptor_type : extension revision 1
so everything should be fine.

I run Steam from CLI as "steam -console". When I click Play in Steam, CDPR launcher starts and is visible but when I click PLAY from CDPR launcher, it just closes and the game doesn't start. I can see errors in CLI such as

System.NotImplementedException: Managed.TextFormatting.FullTextLine.GetRunMetrics for MS.Internal.Text.TextSpanModifier

I don't think GetRunMetrics is specified - should GetSystemMetrics be called instead? https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/api/winuser/nf-winuser-getsystemmetrics

Apparently many Windows users are experiencing the same problem, game doesn't start from red-launcher. I hate these external launchers. I'll wait couple of days for patches or so before refunding. Tested using Fedora 33, Proton 5.13-4, Gnome 3.38 (Wayland and Xorg) and KDE Plasma 5.20.3 (Wayland and Xorg).

Very good and addictive game. When I heard Epic Games bought Psyonix I had a bad feeling... FFS, Valve should have bought Psyonix! Now Epic is removing online multiplayer functionality from us, paying Linux customers! What a joke. I'm asking for a refund.

Nice and creative game for younger people IF only the game actually worked. The developer is too lazy to update the Android version and he hasn't made Linux version available on Steam. So I have two platforms but I can't run the game I paid for. The last straw is that the developer is completely unresponsive to emails and Steam forum feedback. Thumbs down.

Almost as much fun as qwtf well6 bunny hopping and grenade jumping back in the days! TF2 and Rocket League are my favorite multiplayer games, I've spent too many hours with this game.
