Early Access Review
I do not say it lightly; probably the best rhythm game I've ever played. It's more Rhythm Heaven than OSU! or any other of the more common type of rhythm games, but it takes what Rhythm Heaven made and brings it to a WHOLE new level.

Also, some of the character's stories are cute as hell! Didn't expect to care for a rhythm game's STORY but here we are!!
Anyway, if you're reading reviews, you're interested enough that you HAVE to give it a try. I swear by the SECOND level you'll already be a fan!

It's just pure, unadultered fun. And the best you get at problem-solving and being resourceful, the more you can get out of the game. It's pure bliss accepting a mission you're absolutely NOT prepared for, going anyway, and figuring out how you'll actually accomplish it when you get there.

Also, the game gave me a character called Lady Voidborn.

Lady Voidborn completed a LOT of missions. Well known throughout the galaxy. She had a Restockable Remote Grenade Launcher, which she used to liberate two or three space stations...When it was finally time to retire her, I passed along that weapon, naming it "Lady Voidborn's Liberator".

A lot of characters later, I found that weapon again, with a newbie. Man did I feel like I was actually holding a legendary weapon from a legendary mercenary.

Watch the trailer. Listen to the theme song.
YES the game is as good as that theme song.

(And if you don't like the song, you obviously have horrible taste and shouldn't be allowed to buy anything ever)

Seriously though, if you're a fan of the genre you'll have a blast with it. The level generation works beautifully, and makes it impossible to get bored. Give it a try!

The narrative is great, the visuals are stunning, but the puzzles are so incredibly boring that they ruined everything else for me... If you didn't like Limbo because of the puzzles (like me), you probably won't like this one either. It's pretty much the same thing. They're very, very basic, and feel more like an unecessary complication of the path than a problem you have to think about and resolve. There's a very small number of crates you can push to climb on top and still have fun with in puzzles...

I love Playdead, but man do I look forward for when (if?) they venture into other game genres.

A computer terminal in the game asked me why I wanted so much to prove I'm human. I spent like 10 minutes thinking, unable to answer.
Thought this was just puzzles, ended up on one of the most philosophical rides a game has ever taken me. 10/10

Please stop not playing this game. You aren't not smart if you don't not play it.
