I really wanted to like this. Its charm and humour are great but the core gameplay just didn't feel fun. Could be fault of the player, but I just found it hard to find a flow in this game which is where it should shine.

What a game. "Game" might not be quite the right noun as Mouthwashing is more of an interactive psychological horror.

It's hard to explain what makes this title such a memorable experience without spoiling it but it is a carefully crafted, non-linear story told through the lenses of unreliable narrators.

Commentary regarding corporate greed, personal responsibility and the road to Hell being paved with good intentions is wrapped up with references to Alien (1979) and The Shining (1980); having Anya, the ship's medic, resemble a 70s Shelley Duvall was a clear artistic choice, and for good reason.

I'm a little late to the party with Mouthwashing and its tide of hype but if anything I've written rings with you, you owe it to yourself to play it alone, in a dark room, in one painful sitting.

Fun game which demands patience and skill. Finished in one sitting.

Really cool sci-fi-dystopian setting. With the jazzy soundtrack I felt like I was a background character in an episode of Cowboy Bebop.

Fun with a pad, even better with a wheel.

Highly recommended.

Good, albeit short, indie game. Bit repetitive but I can see the intent was to encourage players to mix up weapons and playstyle.

This game reminds me of staying up late in the 90s to watch hyper-violent, dystopian-post-apocalyptic-cyberpunk anime.

10/10, currently attempting to complete all chapters on hard.

I finished this game while stuck in a village in the middle of nowhere on an old HP laptop.

Good point and click fun. Not a lot to say which wouldn't spoil the game.

Essentially Twin Peaks + X Files with some Coen brothers in the style of Maniac Mansion/Day of the Tentacle.
