I've been a Mortal Kombat fan for a looong time, starting on the original MK1 (on SNES).
The reboot that was MK9 was one of my biggest videogame highlights of the last generation.
With MKX I was super stoked and after a kind of horrible launch on PC and months of fixing it to make it a flawless gaming experience I can finally say that it may be the perfect Mortal Kombat game ever.

I got more than 200 hours of playtime by now and I still enjoy it like ever, but I'm kind of afraid playing online because the netcode isn't the best there is.
But it could have changed, now that there seems to be a new netcode implemented into the game.

But I was wrong.

I looked forward to two new features to the game, which was on one side the already mentioned new netcode and on the other side the new Kombat Pack.

After Kombat Pack 1 and dozens of skins, fatalaties, stage brutalies and such added to the game I've always seen Kombat Pack 2 as the final content that should roundup MKX. I never asked for a Kombat Pack 3 or maybe even a Story Pack, because after so much content it would seem way too greedy asking for more. Instead NRS should start focussing on their next game.

So what could have gone wrong with this last extra content?

The only thing I wouldn't have expected: DROPPING THE COMPLETE PC SUPPORT.

No final DLC, no additional balance or performance patches, and maybe not even the new skins, who knows.
Also the new netcode which could have erased the only major issue with the game seems to be not added to the PC version.

This is pure scam and not acceptible.
So what if the reason behind dropping PC support is the fact that there were only about half a million copies sold on this platform? Is it the gamers fault? The fault of honest customers?

Maybe its the fault of WB Games and NRS in the first place, hiring people to make the PC port who were clearly overburdened with this job. Maybe that's the reason such a small amount of people bought the PC version of the game because it was ♥♥♥♥♥♥ in the first place?

As of now, I sadly cannot recommend buying this game. Not because the game is bad, but because the way WB Games and NRS are treating their fans and customers.
