The pixelated graphics are beautiful. There are a few animated cutscenes whose style feels out-of-character, but it's hard to be bothered by that when the gameplay is so dynamic and rewarding. There's plenty of lore, if you're into that. If you enjoy Hollow Knight then you will enjoy this. And if you're reading this and don't know what Hollow Knight is, close out of this window immediately and go give Team Cherry your money.

The concept is cool but the execution is 2/5 stars

I didn't play F1 21 so I cannot gripe that this is a reskin of the previous game (seems to account for the bulk of negative reviews). For me, it's a fresh experience with incredible sounds and visuals (my 2060S can't keep up) and more features than in previous entries.

An amazing compilation that offers access to every entry in the series from one place. More developers should do this with their franchises.

I'm about 12 hours deep and it's just as confusing, frustrating, daunting, and wholly and awesomely rewarding as the first Dark Souls.

A well-made game. Integrating ranked competitive matches was a good move. Official gun game and deathmatch servers was a good move. The devs manage to continue to ntroduce additional content without ruining the integrity of the gameplay. There are only two downsides to this game and both are inherent to playing online. The first is that there are sometimes discrepancies between what happened on your screen and what is registered on the server, and this can happen even when you have a strong connection and low ping. The other is true of most games played online but is more prevalent in CSGO, and that is that there are a lot of bholes who play this game. Some are straight up genuinely not nice people, and then you have your harmless but constantly annoying people who think their unoriginal pop-culture identity is entertaining.

Loads of fun, alone or (and especially) with friends. Several classes to choose from with many different weapon choices that accommodate different styles of play.

I put six str8 hours into this game yesterday and today, 8 1/2 hours into my 10 hour work day, all I can think about is playing more when I get home. Forget sleep, I'm playing Astroneer.

An amazingly fun game, especially when playing with friends. Different weapons and utility allow for various styles of play.

Atmospheric and simple, playing this game is a calm but engaging experience with some touching moments.
