before playing this game, i was told mixed opinions about this game; that it was great and that it was garbage. i definitely underestimated the emotional affect this game would have on me, not because its relatable, but because the bond between sean and daniel was too strong. i chose the ending in which daniel was sent back to our grandparents and i went to mexico with cassidy. seeing grown up daniel alone with our grandparents broke my heart honestly. i hope they get to meet again in the future, but for now, this game was a 9.5/10.

didn't leave a review because i was starstrucked at the pure awe i was in after playing this game. ended up writing a venting .txt file because of how i was feeling. decknine did an AMAZING job at carrying on the store that dontnod started. hearing more about chloe and rachel was so heartwarming. chloe kept to herself in the first game more than she did here, and it was super cool hearing her open up to rachel. rachel's backstory was no joke either, they did an amazing job at filling in the blanks that LIS 1 opened. most reviews online ♥♥♥♥ on decknine for not making the game feel the same, but i think they did a great job at continuing that story. the farewell episode was obviously the best part, it left me with a feeling i couldn't quite shake. it was a nostalgic feeling, especially for me moving away from my friends a couple years ago. decknine also did a phenomenal job at portraying chloe's emptiness at the end of the farewell episode, laying on the floor in pure sadness, wishing she could have max and her dad back. 9.9/10 in my opinion, must play if you enjoyed LIS 1.

the reintroduction of max definitely gave this game bonus points in my opinion. bringing up the old characters definitely didn't make this game the masterpiece that it was. i definitely enjoyed the first game better, but this reignited some feelings and emotions. the graphics are amazing, the story is even better. it was a little difficult to follow at first, but it tied its web back together toward the end. i enjoyed this one a lot more than i thought i would. would recommend if you played LIS 1 and enjoyed the characters there. decknine did a great job at creating new emotions and characters surrounding those emotions. i love the atmosphere of caledon university and the cafe. overall amazing game in my opinion, 9.8/10

truly the best game i have ever, and will ever play. everything about this game is perfect, everything down to the fine details and the execution of it all. the story is just astonishing and i wish i could play it a thousand times over. its like that feeling you get after watching a good movie, that empty, yet so full and happy feeling, so much that you wish you could be in the same dimension as it. life is strange is the only game that has changed my life, and i will never forget it. 10/10 game, thank you for making this masterpiece, DontNod.
