Big bean guy here. This game saved my house from being taken by the bank.

Great game

Its a budget version of ready or not. And i say that in the best way possible. its not a bad game. it has some systems like the AI breach and clear tools which are super basic and honestly useless. but then it does some other things very well. I would say no this is not a game worth buying at full price and if i needed to judge based off value per price. It would be a very negative review. However. I would say this is very much worth it if you can get it on sale. For instance i picked it up for only $1.89. and with that in mind. i would say its amazing for the price.

I really respect the devs for listening to the community and doing what many people who love this game wanted. But unfortunately this game still is just not my cup of tea. I love souls like games but its just feels off still. Some may like it. You may like it. But this is my opinion.

As far as why i didn't like it. there really was no compelling story or even theme to the game. The lantern is a neat tech feature but not enough to carry the entire game on its back. As far as a souls like game it in my opinion fell short and was almost a washed down version of a souls game. It was fast paced (not bad or good) but the bosses and enemies were easy. at least what i experienced in 2 hours of game time was easy. Maybe some boss 50 hours in may be a challenge but im not playing for that long if i didnt like it.

Once again indie devs carrying gaming on their backs. Its a pretty fun game.

Works fine. Everyone who says that its "not in my inventory" you need to claim it from your storage chest in the shop tab of the menu.

Honestly a decent game. Anyone who says this is only pay to win doesn't know what true pay to win is. On a scale of 1-10 on how pay to win it actually is. its around 4 out of 10. Its not as bad as everyone wants you to believe. The only part of the game which is "pay to win" is the auction house, and you still need to reach level 40 before you can even use it. Its also optional to even use it. Anyone who also purchases something from the auction house will still need to grind the leveling and upgrade the gear the same as a free to play player.

Amazing game! Highly recommend.
