The company running this game has extended the stick far too long. I've lost the motivation to chase the carrot.

The existence of this game in the west and as a PC port is a miracle.

Really fun game!

You'll see complaints about things like "balance of the fighting system", "ping diff", etc.
These haven't really affected me. Every fight I've lost felt like a fair loss for being outplayed or me simply me being worse than the opponent.

But this is my experience and yours may be different.
However, if you're on the fence about this game, just buy it and give it a try for around 2 hours. If it clicks and it feels like something you enjoy, keep playing, if not, refund it.

I recommend this for all games you feel on the fence about, you really don't know until you've experienced it yourself. If you're interested in it, there has to be a reason, so experience it yourself and see if that gut instinct that piqued your interest is true.

I disagree with the down votes saying how much the game has changed. The core fundamentals of the game hasn't changed. We, the players, have changed.

Most of us are adults now, so we're not viewing this game with wide-eyed awe like we did as children. Despite this, I'm glad they decided to bring the game back for us to enjoy again.

The comments about the game now being p2w is not true. You can buy equipment that makes your characters strong without grinding, yes, but the BiS equipment can't be bought and must be grinded for.
The coordi equipment (cosmetic gear), which requires real money, do provide stats, but the amount they provide is minimal and the difference in strength they provide is only noticeable at early levels.

However, I do have a very big gripe about the game, which is the fact that certain things aren't shared between characters, like pets.
But I also understand the decision behind this. If there's people willing to pay for a pet multiple times, might as well do it. Games are meant to make money, there are people behind projects and the money isn't going towards a single entity, it's going towards employees and real people who work within the entity.

I hope Nobeta wins xD. I’m a Nobeta main and she’s just so fun!! Souls get so trolled by the Lightning, and her expressions are so cute like when she makes the O_O face! She’s super random but also smarter than she looks, just like me xD

Really fun game. The dev is also very active and responsive to community feedback.

This game literally doesn't let you spend money on it until you beat it.

Great game 200% recommend.
