I was pretty hyped to try out this game after hearing so much buzz about it, but unfortunately after playing it I simply can't recommend it because of the too many faults it has. The tutorial is immensely frustrating in the later chapters, requiring you to do seemingly impossible key combinations. The UI isn't mouse driven at all, and when you first start it up you have absolutely no idea how to navigate the menus, being given clues like "LK" to accept and "MK" to cancel. How does a player new to the game know what LK and MK are? Each character has their own "story mode", but the tutorial probably takes longer than the characters' story modes combined. It is supposed to be an arcade-style game, but I felt as though there wasn't much to do after a few hours of playing. The user experience honestly was just bad for me. In the very final cutscene, right before the credits, the game consistently crashes for me for Parasoul, and some other characters. It's very frustrating, especially since this bug is easily reproducable. In short, get it if you have friends that play it (it does have a multiplayer mode), or if it's 75% off like it has been recently, but I would have a hard time justifying spending $15 for the single player mode.
