Black Mesa is an amazing recreation of the original Half-Life. After playing through Xen I can see why it took the developers so long to finish this part of the game; it is absolutely beautiful. After you've experienced this game you will probably find it very hard to go back to playing the original, and if by any chance you're someone who has never played the Half-Life series before, Black Mesa is a fantastic place to start.

Rockstar Games does homage to Max Payne (originally a Finnish game series btw) with this one, and unlike some other recent titles by Rockstar, this time the PC port is really good too.
