- Prone to episodic instability, manifesting in sporadic crashes that may perturb the unseasoned player.
- Notable instances of desynchronization on select servers, particularly during vehicular traversal, which can engender a disjointed multiplayer experience.
- The installation cadence of modifications is occasionally sluggish, necessitating a degree of patience from the end user.

In my estimation, the ARMA series has perennially reigned supreme in the realm of military simulation, notwithstanding its perennial performance inefficiencies. This latest installment is unequivocally the apotheosis of their efforts to date. If one were to appraise this title as a nascent precursor to ARMA 4, then the attendant imperfections, though vexatious, are an acceptable toll for progress. I personally procured this title as an act of patronage towards the inevitable development of ARMA 4 and was met with an unexpectedly gratifying evolution of the game over its approximately 1.5-year lifespan.

First session played for 14 hours straight - absolutely incredible game.
Refreshing in the best ways, like pokemon, zelda, and ark had a D1 athlete kid.

Finally sat down to play this, and wow - absolutely stunning game. Played it in a single play-through in just under 10 hours, and I'm insanely happy I did. Pacing was phenomenal, wasn't too hard, and the story kept me hooked throughout. This is one of the first games I went out of my way to make sure I found and read/listened to every possible piece of lore. Hooked me until the end, and man, glory to the ARK!

Heavy recommend - graphics still hold up even nearly a decade later.

Looks like a mobile game, plays like a mobile game, extremely arcade'y.
Even though you are at 9k rpm in 4th gear, you stay around ~40mph for some reason (with a drift tuned 500hp skyline with proper tuning).
