Bethesda has been on a losing streak for years, and they have finally clawed a W from the jaws of Oblivion, literally.

A fun adventure with a well written story. It tries to emulate The Old Way of classic games, with things like very limited fast travel, no quest markers, no save scumming, and even making you chart your own world map. It's a little bit undercut by the fact the game is just very easy. I don't think it hurts the game though because it's not really about the combat; it's about exploring and trying to understand this incredibly alien world, which I think was really well done.

Good game, I do feel like it needs more time to bake and develop to become really great. Balance is kind of all over the place and runs are very much feast or famine on RNG. But there's fun to be had in that. Every run does not feel like an auto-win, and winning is very satisfying.

Also the art and characters are great.

Great game. Would like to see it get content updates some day.

For a game literally set in a universe where our own mistakes led to our extinction, the game leans pretty hard into man's innate potential for good, which surprised me but in a good way. There's some solid thought-provoking philosophical moments in the game, and the puzzles are satisfying. A good game and I would say a solid improvement on the original.

Games this good only happen once every several years. Play it. Cherish it.

I do hope they add to and tweak Act 3 as time goes on.

It's easy to get bogged down nitpicking every aspect of a BGS game, but at the end of the day, I'd say this game is pretty good

Great game. A worthy sequel to the original Remnant. The solo experience is intense but rewarding. Anything that can be fought can be learned, and anything that can be learned can be beaten. I hope this game earns its place as a franchise for years to come.

This used to be good game. Now it's a great game. One of the best, even.
