Charming, delightful, and at times breathtakingly beautiful, Botanicula is a great point and click adventure for anyone of any age who appreciates an imaginitive world full of endearing characters. All the communication among the characters consists of emotive noises and gestures, so anyone can understand what's going on, regardless of their native language(s). Unique hand-drawn artwork and a wonderful music score and overall sound design. A game children, parents and grandparents might enjoy, alone or together.

I will note that the puzzles sometimes seem arbitrary rather than logical - sometimes getting ahead in the story involves just clicking on everything until something happens, but that didn't detract too much from my enjoyment of the game. Indeed it often lead to discovering whimsical little moments in the game that might otherwise have been missed.

Well, it's a good game. I've gotten nearly 100 hours out of it so far, so I suppose I can't say I haven't gotten my money's worth. But honestly I would recommend waiting until it goes on a deeper sale and/or the base price drops significantly. It is the weakest of the three Borderlands games so far. A release-day base price of $40 might have been more reasonable based on the amount of content compared to the previous games in the franchise.

So far the Season Pass has been a real disappointment. I would unreservedly NOT recommend the Season Pass until it is much cheaper. In BL2, it was four full story expansions with story missions and side quests. So far the Pre-Sequel's Season Pass has included the Handsome Jack character add-on and the Holodome Onslaught challenge, which I admittedly haven't finished yet. Plans have been announced for the remainder of the Season Pass to be another character and one (and only one) story expansion. Of course they never really promised four massive story expansions...

Don't get me wrong - I've had tons of fun playing it, but I think more of that was getting together with my Borderlands buddies online again than the actual game content. It is a good game; if you like Borderlands-style gameplay, it is an eventual must-have, but there are other games to play until this one comes down to a more reasonable price.

Beautiful open world tropical island with alpine environments in the mountains. The story and acting are honestly rubbish, but this is one of the most fun games ever. Blow up fuel tanks, military installations, government agents, palm trees, whatever, just 'cuz. Drive cars, trucks, cycles, helicopters, planes, hovercraft, etc. on and off road. And then there's the grappling hook and parachute... Ridiculously enjoyable!

Big open world to explore, intensely satisfying gameplay, top-notch voice acting, an interesting story, stunning graphics, and it goes on sale for 75% off several times a year. What are you waiting for? THIS GAME IS FUN!

I know it looks like I've only played it for an hour in this review; I played it all the way through (minus the DLC) in the pre-GOTY version. The current GOTY version is better of course as it has all the DLC and does not have the 3rd party DRM! I plan to play it again with the DLC since they went and gifted it to everyone who had the pre-GOTY version.

Well over 30 hours of campaign and missions, even without the DLC. Try more characters, add some friends through the effortless drop in-drop out co-op play and/or matchmaking, and you have HUNDREDS OF HOURS OF FUN! Highly recommended.

Addictive twin-stick shooter. Plays kind of like Asteroids, only prettier, and it gets hectic a lot faster. With a quite appropriate light techno soundtrack.
