This game is wonderful. Perfect replayability. Good amount of engagement while also balancing casual play.

I've had this game since it was originally released in early access. Since then, it's become 2 completely different games. The current release feels like a poor rip on Risk of Rain 2. If I wanted to play RoR, I would play that. It's a great game.

The best version of this game was the the first, where the actual goal of the game was to "get to the orange door". In that version, the focus was more around the parkour mechanics, with shooting enemies being secondary. This version clearly uses enemies and fight mechanics as the primary focus of the game.

All in all, I think the original idea for the game was good, but after multiple years and re-designs, it just doesn't hold up for me anymore. 2/10.

If you aren't ready to play a game that takes about 100 hours to start to understand the mechanics, don't play CS:GO.

That being said, if I had to pick a game to put almost 3000 hours (at the time of writing this) into, it would be Counter-Strike one thousand times over. Easy to understand, nearly impossible to master. Nothing is quite as satisfying as an organized bombsite take where your whole team is on the same page, or getting some sick headshots. Something about the mechanics of this game draw you back again and again; first-person shooters are forever changed for me because of it. Do not play this game unless you are ready to either stop playing in the first 10 hours or never be able to put it down.
