The best mechanic of this game is how much you can flush down the toilet and it doesn't block, I want one of these toilets.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
Where to start?
This game in itself is one of the best single player star wars games that has come out most recently. The main protagonist Cal is decent enough, but the support characters are much more interesting and make the world feel alive as they chatter amongst themselves and make the worlds you play feel lived in.
I played through the game on the second highest difficulty Jedi Master and enjoyed this difficulty as it gave me a challenge and punished me for my mistakes which I learned from. Do not play this game on an easy difficulty otherwise you will fly through the game and you won't be happy in how quick you completed it for the price you payed.
The worlds you play in look jaw dropping and you should just stop and look around yourself every now and then to appreciate the hard work done to the world building as a huge effort has been made here.

This game is great but it's not all sunshine and rainbows and I do have some gripes with it that include;
  • FPS some point in the game your PC with struggle, not sure why but my fps dipped below 40 and had some slight screen tearing at certain points in the game.(My PC specs are on my profile).
  • Enemy variety, the combat is fun but there are not a lot of different enemy types to spice up some of the fights.
  • The games length is surprisingly short coming from AAA studio but I guess it's better than bleak open worlds as the places you explore in this game are very fascinating with star wars lore.

I 100% completed the game in 21 hours so for this reason I would wait for this game to go on sale before you purchase it as once you are finished with the game there isn't much else you can do instead play on a higher difficulty.

7/10

As a Fan of the original game that I got for Free on Games for Gold on Xbox, I was looking forward to playing this game when i got it for a discount. First off if you haven't played the first game play that before playing this one as you will not understand the past events that affect Jack's character.
I will start off with a negative which is that the beginning is very slow and I stopped playing the game for a couple months and then wanted to play again later in the year.
A big positive with the game is that main story picks up about a 1/2 way into the game and that's what got me back into the game.It was also very satisfying when I got my first starting cops to being the best in the precinct.
There are also small pieces of other interesting stories that sometimes continue whilst playing through the game which includes the citizens.
Overall I highly recommend this game to anyone who has an interest in police games with RTS like game play.

As a fan of the previous two games I did enjoy this one mainly for the story and i liked and disliked the combat which was more like dark souls, the combat is challenging and very unforgiving but i got more satifisfaction after having to learn the bosses patterns and dying a few times to learn it to eventually defeat them.I will also add that checkpoints are very unforgiving (spaced out) too and when you die the enemies reset also.

The new graphics in this game were good but even with my GTX 1080 i got 60fps in more calm situations and when there was alot going on it went down to 30fps which is a bit disappointing.

I finished the game at level 53 this was mainly due to it getting very easy towards the end to level up if you stockpile soul bundles you collect. This made the last parts of the game too easy for me and even the final boss wasn't the hardest out of all the bosses.

Overall i really enjoyed this game and reccommend to anyone who liked the originals and anyone who is looking for a challenge.

Now i need to find something new to play :(

We Happy Few

Personal Interest
Ever since I saw the E3 announcement for this game I was immediately interested in what this game had to offer as the art style and concept intrigued me. I have always been into studying English history so as soon as it had some WW2 elements in it I was already fascinated. So I bought the game and the season pass after it was officially released after watching one of the Angry Joe Show's streams.

Introduction
You play as Arthur Hastings a man who is contempt with his life whilst taking his 'Joy' (happy drugs) and works as an Editor at the Department of Archives, Printing, & Recycling. Although he comes across a news article which brings back horrible memories which he had forgotten about and starts to remember his brother Percy. At this point he snaps out of his questionable happiness and stops taking his Joy and this then sets into motion the events that unfold in the game.

Positives
  • The main story Arthur's is the best by far with it being interesting and
  • For the amount of time you can spend playing this game with its story, DLC and sandbox the price is great.
  • I really liked the dystopian art style used here in conjunction with the sounds that are used to accompany each different area.
  • I enjoyed playing all the different DLC's especially Lightbearer for its mystery in its story-telling.
  • Combat is very easy to figure out and you can get creative with projectile weapons and make upgraded weapons as you advance through the game
Negatives
  • I did not find the other characters stories as interesting as Arthur's but that's down to personal opinion.
  • Sometimes the areas that spawn don't make sense or they are floating but I haven't had this happen after it just bugs me a little.
  • Stealth is a little bit lack luster by throwing glass bottles to distract enemies and they can sometimes see you when they shouldn't be able too.

My overall opinion i rate this game:
8/10
