This game wins my 2024 award for Most Marbles
It’s so chaotic and fun. The controls feel great and the stages are super fun with some really fun mechanics.
The developer is already on the ball(marble?) with QOL updates and listening to feedback.

Easy buy, especially considering the price. Please play it…

Early Access Review
There is a bit of a learning curve (especially with index controls), but after watching 15 minutes of Youtube from the developer's channel on the basics, I had a ton of fun. The new meat fortress update has me rocket jumping around like an idiot, and I haven't even scratched the surface of content available here. On first impressions alone, (and me wanting to hop back into the game immediately after typing this) I highly recommend it.

Budget Cuts is easily one of the best VR experiences ever; and one of the most complete, refined, and full VR titles. The story is very captivating, the gameplay loop is great, and I feel there's decent replay value in either playing the game guns-blazing, or sneaking around.

The teleportation mechanic is pure genius, and I love how every bit of this game is designed around the unique movement. Crouching down to actually enter vents, bouncing your teleportation shot off of walls to reach new areas, and more.

The only technical issue I faced was that my controllers would lag just a bit; this doesn't seem exclusive to me, as watching playthroughs show this issue. Sometimes it made peering through your little teleportation device seem jittery and difficult.

TLDR: 8/10. Great story. Great gameplay. Definitely a must buy for anyone wanting to get into story driven VR.

This is my second playthrough of VVR; I finished it first on my Google Daydream.

Wonderful game, great writing. There's a good bit of content to explore, and with a decent play time for it's length (Accounting+, which is around the same price, is only like half the length. In VR standards, this is great.)

Controls for Vive are odd, and there's no way to remap them in game. I dealt with it, but it was a confusing choice.

However, the worst issue with this is the fact that my SteamVR chaperones would often dissapear, making it difficult to tell where i was; to fix this, I had to waggle my controllers and headset around until it came back. I did happen to bonk into walls a few times.

TLDR: 6/10. Small technical issues. Great writing. Decent length. (Definitely a great pickup if you love simple, story driven VR games!)

PROS:
  • Puyo Puyo and Tetris work very well together
  • Story mode is engaging
  • Tons of playable modes
  • Both english and japanese voice acting (PC exclusive feature!)

CONS:
  • No online filtering for each game. The closest you'll get is swap mode.
  • Game is heavily unbalanced at higher play levels. It's frustrating to play Puyo online as such. However, at lower play levels, it's frustrating to play Tetris online.
  • Plentiful sound bugs.
  • Bad learning environment for both Puyo and Tetris. You get only 3 tutorials for Puyo Puyo, which cover nearly nothing.

Easily my favorite game at the moment, and it's stayed that way for half a year, even despite the huge flaws.

I started on the switch version, very curious as to what Puyo Puyo was, and I was already a huge fan of Tetris. After playing the switch demo, I was hooked and cashed in. Giving around 2-3 hours of time to watching puyo puyo tutorials on youtube, I could make a decent 2-3 chain.

Ever since then, I've completely fallen in love with Puyo. I can easily get a 10-11 chain, and I find it fun even when just playing offline, on my own.

Online is fun, albeit a bit frustrating for both beginning players and proffesional players, because the game has a hard time balancing the two.

This is the best way to play Puyo and Tetris on the PC. Super big reccomendation.

This game is very interesting. Everyone has the capability to play it, yet only the ones willing to suffer through ear damage to beat it will make it through.
I wouldn't reccomend it to someone with low quality headphones, as myself.
It makes it difficult mainly because I don't have the best audio set up and it's hard to hear the breathing.
The graphics are... okay. Animatronics look cool, but it looks odd for a house, much less a kids room.

Play the demo before you buy. I made the mistake of not playing the demo before buying it. 4/10
